We treated ourselves to afternoon tea today, and it was a fantastic experience. Gillian, our host, provided a warm and inviting welcome, making us feel right at home. Our tea service featured Earl Grey, cucumber sandwiches, scones with preserves, cream, and strawberries, as well as other delicious goodies. I strongly recommend visiting this lovely tea room and will definitely go back!
What a delightful surprise! The British tea was absolutely wonderfully authentic, complemented w. delicious cream and jam with perfectly baked scones and fresh strawberries. The charming setting and the warm, welcoming owner even made my husband feel comfortable and happy. Everything was delicious and light- we felt so blessed to have walked in!
What an amazing hidden gem!! Such a one of kind experience in Marion. The lunch is really reasonable and you won't leave hungry. You get a nice variety of tea sandwiches, chicken salad, croissants, her wonderful, homemade scones with preserves and homemade whip topping and sweet treats all served on a three tier platters and her wonderful Ireland accent is a bonus.
