I ordered the 20 boneless wings deal. When I got home and opened the containers I was so upset that the wings were Chicken Nuggets covered in sauce. They looked and tasted like the cheapest chicken nuggets you can buy! This is false advertisement. The amount of fries was only enough for one person. Never going back. 😡

I was visiting Marion today and decided I wanted to try Charley’s. I haven’t had a cheesesteak in forever. This particular location looked closed. So I drove through the parking lot to see if the restaurant was even open. It was, just the lot was empty. Perfect. I pulled up and ordered a #2 with a large vanilla shake. Yeah, I paid almost $20 for this lunch but hey, I can’t take this money with me when I die. I was handed my shake and asked to pull up and someone will bring my food out when it’s ready. No worries! If this means they’re making my food fresh, I really have no issue waiting.
The gentleman at the window was super sweet and had an infectious smile despite the fact that it’s hotter than satan’s lair out here mid-August with no A/C. And, mind you, all employees wear black pants, black shirts. The absolute worst color to wear if trying to stay cool.
I did wait maybe 5-7 minutes for my food. But really, that’s nothing compared to what we wait in a restaurant for fresh cooked food. The gentleman that brought my food out looked as if he was walking to the beat of an old school Otis Redding or Al Green song. He had dreads that were just starting to grey. This man definitely looked like someone you’d want to hang out with around a campfire and swap stories.
I didn’t grab anyone’s name, a car had pulled up behind me and I didn’t want to hold up the line. This is why I’m giving descriptions of the individuals I came in contact with. Someone needs to give these men a raise. To have such great attitudes and positive customer service despite the hot and uncomfortable work conditions speaks volumes about their character and work ethics.
And what about the food? Chefs kiss. So good and definitely worth the wait. I don’t understand what some of these other reviewers are complaining about. I think a lot of us have forgotten that as the customer, it’s our job to be kind and patient.

Visiting from Florida. We were going to try Charleys but when we walked in and seen how filthy dirty the place was........we turned around and walked out. Just disgusting. And they had fans blowing everywhere. Probably can't afford to pay for air conditioning.

Fix your AC OTHER THEN THAT FOOD WAS GREAT BETTER SERVICE THEN 3 YEARS AGO. THIS PLACE HAS GOTTEN BETTER ILL BE BACK THANKS TO THE GUY WHO REDID MY WIFES SANDWICH SHE FOR GOT TO TELL HIM JUST PLAIN NOTHING BUT WHAT SHE LIKE ON IT HER FAULT BUT HE TOOK CARE OF IT

The Marion Mt Gilead Rd location in OH has THE WORST customer service in America! I've had Charley's cheese steak in over locations and it's been great, but this location, is trash. We went through the drive through 3 times for them to finally get our take out order right. From giving us plain wings when we asked for lemon pepper rub , giving us coke when we asked for diet coke, then when we asked them to replace it they told us the diet machine had broken down, after trying to convince us that what they gave us initially was diet coke!! They also have to be reminded to give straws and ketchup with the food! Spend your money somewhere else.

One of my favorite places to eat. The food is always hot and fresh and delicious!

Only 1 worker and he killed it with the food. 6 peoples orders, cheesestakes fries and drinks, absolutely wonderful! Keep up the great work, Dasmond!
