Walked in, sat down, staff came immediately with coffee and menu's. My friend go's there often so they knew him. He ordered his usual and I ordered it also. Food came in minutes , was hot and delicious. If your in Marion, it's worth a look.
That food is a 10/10 me and my family went and we had the cheeseburger club sandwich, the marion club sandwich, and the gyro. It. Was. So. Good. The bacon was amazing!!!! The frys are so crunchy and tasty. The waiter was cool and was patient. They're not stingy with the food at all. The only problem I had was that it made me too full lollll! I definitely will be going back.
Went for lunch last week will never return again. $84.34 for 4 people outrageous prices my 2 year old granddaughter kids meal was not a kids meal ot was a meal for an grown adult not to mention $9.00 $10 for 5 pieces of cheese sticks no flavor bland as hell..The food was worth the money what so ever it was
We stopped here today for breakfast. Walking in, the place is nice and clean. Our waitress Tammy seemed like a Grumpy old lady and probably should not be a waitress. We were seated near the restrooms where there was an odor of sewer gas. We were told it's because the roof leaks in the women's bathroom, and it's an old McDonald's building. Excuses... My son ordered pancakes with bacon. They were just ok. My wife asked for poached eggs. The waitress told her that it would be a long time because they had to boil water. So she ordered scrambled eggs and home fries with rye toast. She didn't like any of the food. I tried country fried steak with scrambled eggs, home fries, and rye toast. The potatoes were ok, as was the eggs. The country fried steak, and the sausage gravy was awful. I couldn't even eat it. We definitely will not be back. The prices are reasonable, the service could be better and the food....yuck!
I had a Gyro and it is one of the best that I've ever had it was a little bit lamb heavy and that's one of the things I look for. The fries were pretty solid too. The only problem I had was the amount of people there, it was a ghost town. This place is one of the few that genuinely deserves to be pretty full every day, so to see such a great place empty like that around dinner is a bit sad. Regardless I certainly recommend this place and there is sure to be something here for anyone with how massive the menu is.
We just left your place! Our bill for 2 people was $35 plus was definitely not worth it! The fish was supposed to be perch, well no way was it perch that I’ve ever had! It was mushy and for $17.00 which we were not aware of it’s not worth the money! The only good thing was salad and baked potato and end of it was hard, veggies were cold. I did order coney dog that were good but some charges on our bill should have been taken off , last time we’ll eat there! Unless we order to go BLT club . $3.99 for French fries ! Outrageous!! We could have gone to Red Lobster or Olive Garden for the price and would be hot and good !!Dought if we come back waitress was nice, but still think they should have made changes in our bill!!!
Worst place I’ve ever ate at. Food was awful. Would rather eat pig slop. Waitress was rude. Came out and said here’s your extremely big bill. No business of hers how big it was. Couldn’t even get refills. Acted like they didn’t even wanted to wait on us. Wish I could’ve gave it a negative 5. Want pig slop then this is the place
We had breakfast. Biscuits and gravy and a cheese omelette with rye toast.Average taste. Not much cheese in the omelet, though. Nothing really stood out.At least the service was excellent.
It's okay, but not fantastic. Definitely could use some interior cleaning. Food splatters on walls by booths. It smells as old as it looks, and some of the upholstery is ripped and worn. Could really use some interior renovations, but I understand that stuff costs money. All in all, I left with my belly full, and the prices were definitely affordable.
Kid-friendliness: Servers seem to be very kid-friendly and find them entertaining.
Food is so nasty. I do not recommend. My boyfriend got country fried steak...it was so nasty. And I got the breaded pork chop and it didn't even taste like pork chop. The mashed potatoes were so solid and tasteless. Paid 31.00 for the worst food I have ever ordered.

Food was not that very good tasting at all. Other reviews made it sound good. Can't recommend it. My wife and I won't go back.
Not able to eat it. told server. No offer to replace or refund. Cute diner in Marion, OH. Maybe other food is good?
Nora and Tammy are amazing!! My ONLY complaint is Marion Diner stopped carrying the veggie burger and the eggplant Parm. These were 2 great vegetarian options. Please get these back!!!
Vegetarian options: I guess now my only vegetarian choices are side salad, spaghetti, eggs or grilled cheese. I can get that anywhere. ?
Got there at 7 ordered Salisbury steak dinner food was out in 5 mins. They were ready to close an let it be known I was back in my car by 7;30 food had no flavor but was hot out
The food is always excellent here. The staff is amazing, and treat you like family. It's a very nice, friendly, hometown diner
