Amazing! I will definitely be coming back.
I stopped in for the first time on Small Saturday shopping. I am so happy I did!!!! The ham and Swiss croissant was absolutely amazing and I could not leave without a piece of egg nog cheesecake! I can’t wait to go back!
My favorite bakery in town! Katie and her team make the most delicious treats! I also love that they offer events (even kid-friendly ones) throughout the year! Truly a gem of a business. Marysville is so lucky to have such a wonderful place in the heart of Uptown!
What a gem of a place!! Stopped in here while visiting friends and I was pleasantly surprised! Tiny place with big flavors! I unfortunately don’t have any pictures because it was simply gone too quickly! I ordered two baguettes, two popovers with jam, one cheese danish, one giant brownie, two blueberry scones and a piece of chocolate beet cake. Everything was delicious but my favorites were the scones and the chocolate beet cake. Both were exceptional! Will definitely visit here again. Highly recommend. A truly good bakery can be hard to find and thus is one of those.

Stopped in and bought a raspberry scone. It was so fresh. The best scone I've ever had.
I came in tonight to order a last minute cake for my husband’s birthday. They couldn’t accommodate my request as they are booked for the next 2 weeks. The man at the counter was so friendly and spent time trying to figure out other options to help me out. Although I didn’t get a chance to order anything from them this time, I definitely will be back based on the amazing customer service alone!

The food and pastries were absolutely wonderful! It was a clean and welcoming locale with food that tastes as fresh as they come—with great plating, too. I personally enjoyed their avocado toast and lemon bar! For how cheap the food is, the quality is outstanding; I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comforting breakfast.

How do you spell delicious? K-I-T-S-C-H-E-N Bakery in historic downtown (uptown) Marysville. My husband and I enjoyed the Valentine’s Tea on Feb. 10 that featured a three-tiered tray of yummy delights. The first tier tickled our taste buds with croissants and a variety of spreads – butter, Devonshire cream, bourbon apple butter, and lemon curd. The second tier was filled with more delicious foods – cucumber and dill sandwiches, egg salad croissants, Waldorf salad, and mini quiches. Arranged on the third tier were a number of delectables that would easily satisfy any sweet tooth – Pavlova, fudge brownies, shortbread cookies, and cheesecake. Serving sizes were more than adequate and there was enough to take home to round out a meal. And of course, there was tea. I chose the vanilla black; it could become a new favorite for me. My husband (not a tea drinker) chose coffee. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was vintage quaint. If you missed this event, Kitschen Bakery holds teas at various times throughout the year. The next one will probably be Mother’s Day.

My husband and I visited Kitschen Bakery over the Thanksgiving holidays and had the opportunity to try a variety of baked goods over the course of a few days. Among them were Oren's eggnog cheesecake - smooth, creamy, yummy; a chocolate fudge brownie - fudgy and delicious; kale, onion and cheese quiche - tasty and the protein kick I needed: a donut muffin - huge in size and so much better than a typical cake donut; and a slice of Meyer orange pie - flavorful with a flaky lard crust. All were wonderfully delicious and the portions were large for the price. Keep in mind, these baked goods are all made without preservatives and use as many locally sourced ingredients as possible. And we took a loaf of sourdough bread home with us. Right now it is in the freezer waiting for just the right time to be made into some of best French toast ever! Can't wait to stop by again.
