Their site is stunning, with an exceptionally gorgeous interior to their main event space. If you're having a winter (or indoor) wedding, you won't find a better location. Their staff was also incredible! Our day-of-coordinator, Michaela, was exceptionally kind and diligent. We were so impressed with how thorough Michaela and Retreat 21 were in our meetings and would recommend them to anyone worried about the details. We are so thankful for Retreat 21 and their staff and cannot sing their praises loudly enough!P.S. If you book R21, book Hudson's Edge as your caterer! Just recently held a corporate event at Retreat 21! From start to finish the process was streamlined, organized and in great detail. Our contact was fabulous to work with! She went above and beyond to ensure our event was the best it could be. Super responsive and accommodating to all our requests. The location is perfect for the retreat like event, with professional interior and decor. Felt more comfortable than your typical reception hall! I typically do not rate places 5 stars, but Retreat 21, 5 stars is very well deserved.

WOW! Retreat 21 absolutely blew us away! We photographed a wedding here this past September and simply cannot wait to come back. The venue was designed with photography in mind. There are endless locations to take photos and large beautiful windows for plenty of natural light. The staff and the wedding coordinator, Leah, were absolutely fantastic. We can't recommend this venue enough and a hope to return again soon!

Such a cool space at the Taphouse! Loved the wine flights but there's other options too. Great for families and groups, there's plenty of seating areas and room for kids to run around. The whole place is dog friendly too!

This place is awesome! Unique event space with so many indoor and outdoor options for entertaining. Tap house for outdoor comfort, huge event center with garage doors for conventions, reunions, parties or weddings, modern cabins and geometric domes provide comfy overnight experiences, natural water features including a shimmering lake for swimming, fields of herbs and wildflowers, a vineyard and orchard. Right outside the 270 outer belt so you can enjoy the dark sky effect. This place has it all!

The Retreat 21 staff was friendly and professional throughout; from initial interest to our actual stay. We used them for our annual leadership retreat. We rented cabins, geodomes, and a meeting room.We preferred cabins over geodomes. The cabins and meeting were comfortable, clean, and well equipped.The Retreat 21 staff were absolutely excellent and especially our Event Manager who took extremely good care of us.

My wife and I drove out to Retreat 21 to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine. This could be the perfect setting for it...but it's not. This is the second time we have tried this place, and just like the first, there were little kids running all over the place in an otherwise adult setting. The first time we just assumed it was because there was a wedding going on, but apparently this has become the place where soccer moms and other parents too cheap to get a sitter on date night come and drink. We grabbed a table outside and were repeatedly disturbed by kids running by and screaming like they were on a playground. There was also an annoying hipster dad who decided that this was a great place to play catch football with his boys, and the ball went under our table at least twice while dude interrupted us to say whoops. There was one table with four moms getting hammered while oblivious to the fact that their children where running full speed all over the outside seating area. We observed several other couples trying to enjoy a drink together who were similarly annoyed, and like us they no doubt left after their first drink and won't be back. Retreat 21's management is clearly aware of the situation as there were signs all over the place informing parents that their kids must stay with them at their table, that they are not permitted to run around the seating area, and that other inconsiderate behavior will not be tolerated. Unfortunately, all of the parents simply ignored this, and not one member of the staff lifted a finger to deal with the situation. I was super excited when I found this place a month ago, and it could really be something special if the adults regained control. Until then, I would avoid it unless you like hanging out in a daycare.

Where do I even begin! Retreat 21 is magical! We booked our wedding venue site unseen as they were still in the development phase and I must say Liz and Carl delivered on all of their promises and more. From communication, organization, professionalism and responsiveness the entire Retreat team were exceptional - especially Michaela who is truly an angel and by far one of the most valuable asset's to the team. For example, on Friday, we had three food trucks, axe throwing and a mobile outdoor movie screen vendor as part of our welcome party and Michaela handled/organized each one with grace ensuring a smooth and extremely fun start to our weekend. She ensured all of our guest who stayed within the cabins, geo-domes and farmhouse were greeted with a warm welcome and had everything they needed.The property is beautiful and made for a gorgeous foundation for our wedding. Our guest are still talking about it - they couldn't believe we were just minutes outside of Columbus, Ohio. Deciding to host our wedding at Retreat 21 was one of the easiest decisions we made and I'd recommend this venue to any and everyone without hesitation.
