We’ve been coming to James' Third Base for years, usually once a week after our boys’ sports activities. The staff is always friendly, the food is consistent and solid bar fare, and Thursday night trivia adds some fun. Our boys especially love the chicken and waffle. Great local spot with a welcoming atmosphere.
Stopped by for a few drinks — it’s a nice neighborhood bar with a lively atmosphere and a good crowd. I didn’t try the food this time, but I’m planning to on my next visit and will update my review accordingly.

After a slightly shaky start ( the cultural confusion of a Brit daring to go to the bar instead of waiting on the server!)
Anyway I could see the pressure she was under, training and a busy place to deal with.
The Greek Gyro was poor. The meat was overdone and dry. I was unable apparently to not have fries on my plate unless I substituted the side, I did and it came on a separate plate, so wasted.
