I really wanted to like the food. The GM served me and was very considerate and helpful. I got the Sammie (medium) with fries and a drink. The chicken was greasy, I really didn’t care for the mix of spices (was too salty), and the breading was too heavy. The fries were thin and crispy, but didn’t have much flavor (pretty sure they are frozen). I wish them well, but I don't think I will return.

The restaurant was clean and staff was friendly amd prices are reasonable. I ordered the Big Pimiento sandwich and garlic parm fries. I didn't realize the chicken was dark meat. I guess I should have asked, but I'm used to 99% of places having chicken breast. That ruined it for me, but it seemed well cooked and put together. The pickles were good and the pimento cheese was fire.

The fries were microwaved. There's no getting around that and it's a fact. I know because I've done that at home, like all of us have at some point. They get hard and chewy. It's disgusting and unacceptable to serve that to people.

The folks I was eating with got tenders and those looked great. I'd go back to try those, but I wouldn't touch those chewy leather shoestring fries ever again.

I really try not to give bad reviews but ....I went in and ordered a to go order and did not get the sides I ordered and what I got was not even eatable. The fries were hard as a rock. The chicken strips were so hard and dried up. And the thighs were greasy and had a off flavor. They offered if you spent more than $20 you get 6 nuggets....well they didn't make it in the bag either. If you offer you should make good. Not sure why a simple order was so wrong. This was my 1st and last time to order from here.

We loved everything about Joella's. The tenders were huge. They had so many sauce's to choose from. For sides we got fried pickles, fries and mashed potatoes and gravy. All three were a generous portions. We will be back soon!

Save your money because you definitely don't get what you pay for. The chicken and waffles are overpriced and l, myself could of made better waffles, chicken, and fries in my own kitchen in my own home. Complete waste of money and time.... I honestly think their reviews are bogus. Food was not flavorful, but yet bread on the chicken was soggy and just over spiced. I tossed the fries in the garbage immediately. Fries were hard, cold, and flat out nasty. Flavorful my arse. Waffles were soggy and tasted like crap. This was my 1st experience here. I was so disappointed I wouldn't give your establishment a second chance no matter what you offer to make it right. You don't mess around with a grown man's dinner on Labor Day PERIOD... Dinner arrived at 3:30 pm.

We ordered my chicken no heat. It had heat not high but still could feel it in my throat.
I ordered Banana Pudding. There was one cookie in it and one spice of banana. That is pitiful! As far as service goes there is not much to evaluate because you go to counter and order. We also had to get our own trays for take home as opposed to it being brought to us.

First impressions: floor was really sticky.
Bathroom door was propped open by a trash can. I didn't bother going in. Don't really know what that was supposed to mean.
Chicken tenders were a bit warm but nowhere near hot. The fried pickles were super hot though. I guess a timing issue. The coke zero from the soda machine had no carbonation. The lemonade was clearly made from a powder and not very good.
Person that took our order and the person that took it out were both super nice and thoughtful to bring a second plate and utensils.

The moment i walked in i know it wouldn’t be that good, the girl that was taking our orders was like not talking at all, not a single greeting upset face, they only had a single bathroom which was really really smelling bad and dirty, they guy who was serving the food was actually kind that is the only thing, i asked for hot but it was actually sweet not hot at all, anyway not recommending it to anyone.

This was 9.49, and the toast was an end piece. 12 dinky nuggets for 9.49, and the breading was mushy and sad.

I love to come here. Me and my boyfriend are still new to the area. He found this spot and been coming ever since. The waffle is so good and fluffy. If you guys are in the Cincinnati Ohio area stop byJoella’s hot chicken. You won’t be disappointed.
