It was a little difficult to find, as the entrance is behind the front of the building. Friendly people, good tea (they blend in house). The coffee seemed to be a dark roast. Great baked goods.
I love Kala, I used to come more often a few years ago when I had more free time for the calming relaxing atmosphere. I visited more recently to have a cup of coffee and read my bible and noticed that there was a different type of music being played. I remember Christian music being played in the past and my last visit there was secular music playing which changed the feel of the atmosphere for me. I would love for the Christian music to be brought back, that was one things that...
I like the layout and it is a nice open inviting space. Coffee was excellent. Only negative is that the service was a little slow but we arrived a little before closing time so that may have been reason why.
