The bread is the worst. When I buy the bread, it's not very soft. They need to go out of business.

Too pricey lately get better deals at Kroger

I began shopping for bread at this location 20 years ago. All was well until January of 2024, when the prices were drastically increased. Most doubled. Some went up even higher. On top of that, loaves of bread purchased from January to March molded within a few days. I never had that problem before. I told the store employee who assured me the bread is fresh. The employee also told me the price increase is still less than what the grocery stores charge. News flash, I get fresher bread for lower prices at the grocery store. Klosterman Baking Company, stop fooling yourself. March 2024 was the last time I shopped at Klosterman Baking Company.

Prices fluctuate based on supply, but it’s still always less than Kroger’s markup. Most expiration dates are within a few days, but will last a couple months in the freezer, and for how much PB&J my kids eat, it’s worth it.

We love this place, but we just went today and prices have gone up. The price of English muffins used to be $3.50 for 12, but now they are $6.50 for 12. I can only hope the employees benefited greatly from these increases.

Way cheaper than those big box stores!!

Moldy outdated products sent to hospitals, schools and nursing homes! Shameful! We have bread and bagels at my employment with expiration dates of 2/29/2023 and 2/30/2023? Huh? What calendar are these deceitful greedy business people using?

I'm really not sure how to rate the business. I wasn't aware that it was a "Cash Only" establishment, so not having cash on me and only a debit card, I went elsewhere for my bakery needs.Now I know it's cash only and will change my review at a later date of warranted.

not sure what's going on but the last 2 times I purchased klosterman hamburger buns they are literally crumbling apart...not good at all..

I can’t believe I’m here reviewing a hot dog bun but I have to say this has to be one of the worse hotdog buns I have ever used. The bun Literally fall apart when you try to split the buns or they’re so unevenly cut one side of the bun just breaks off. It’s pretty bad that you can’t beat out the great value brand, just a horrible product wouldn’t even donate to a local food bank.

The best deal in town for fresh bread and Bagels. They get their bread fresh every Friday morning, so that's actually the best time to go. The employees are very nice, respectful and helpful . I would definitely encourage people on a Budget to come here.

Your recent response in the news regarding a former employer whose insurance won't cover his double lung transplant is deplorable. Nobody asked you to pay for it. You could have chosen not to comment. But you did. And it was the coldest thing I had ever read. Yes, COBRA was an option. Yes, his insurance doesn't cover the procedure. But not an ounce of feeling for this former employee was expressed. Disgusting. Your entire response was defensive and uncalled for.
