Vibes immaculate. First of all, when I walked in to pick up my takeout order the place was blasting ATWTMVTV which is always a good sign. Pizza was DELICIOUS and the specialty pizzas were perfectly designed! Franklin's Tower Jam and the Lovely Rita were my personal favorites, but I look forward to coming back and trying more.

Mad Monks Pizza is one of the BEST around!! We're from the Chicago area and we're pretty picky about our pizza. Mad Monks is where is at AND it's a really cool place to watch games!! The staff is very friendly, too!

First time eating here. I ordered 6 pizzas for my employees who were working OT. The person who took my order was friendly and very helpful. The pizzas were huge and made well. Crust was crunchy and topping were fresh. They all enjoyed the pizza and I did as well. Will definitely be trying more options. Inside looked nice as well. Would be a great place to hang out and enjoy friends and family.

Stopped in for lunch at 1:30 on a Saturday. We had the place to ourselves. Ordered and paid for a large pizza at the counter. Then went to the bar to get a couple iced teas. Note: they don’t have iced tea. We ordered and paid for cups for sodas and headed over to the soda machine by the counter. One of the soda options was out of order. Once I poured sodas we realized the CO2 was out so we told the bartender. He worked on it for a while. Finally he filled our sodas at the bar. I’m sure there’s a business reason for having people order food at one window, drinks at the bar, then to stop #3 to fill cups and get your own plates and napkins. It’s not in the interest of good customer service, I’m certain of that. And I’m not tipping if I’m doing all the work of a tipped person. Especially when the place is empty. The person who made our pizza absolutely killed it - the pie was perfect. Crust, sauce, toppings. Perfect.
Got a medium cheese pizza. Charged me $1.75 for each topping. I asked for green pepper got five. Asked for spinach got six. Totally over charged. Very disappointing

Delicious pizza wrapped up in poor execution for a restaurant. Ordering food and drinks in the same restaurant should be completed in one simple transaction, but not at Mad Monk's. You stand in one line to order and pay for your food, then get to go to the bar to order and pay (again) for your drinks, even soda, where you'll be handed your cups and then proceed back to where you ordered your food to serve yourself. While you're getting your drinks go ahead and grab your plates, silverware, napkins, etc at the drink stand because no one is bringing them out to you. They will, however, request a tip at the time of payment for your food and drinks as if they're actually serving you. That takes guts so I'll give them that.
