This place is still very charming. The breakfast is one of the best in Cincinnati. The muffins are baked fresh every morning.

Good food, really slow service. One waitress called off, leaving one to try to cover the whole room. We didn't really need to hear the kitchen manager screaming at the cooks (in an open window kitchen), including a particularly loud "hey, moron". Maybe the next manager you hire will have better interpersonal skills.

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and friendly, attentive staff! I'm so impressed, I joined Mimi's e-club and I get coupons now, although I think the meals are already fairly priced. I recently had the unfortunate luck of sitting near a table that wanted to use two coupons, when it clearly states only one per table, I almost offered to pay for the cheap $@&!%#$ meal just to make THEM shut up! Such negativity! Anywho, I enjoyed my meal and will continue stopping by my new favorite dining spot! Keep up the good work!

I ordered a virgin bloody Mary and my server was snarky about vodka not being liquor? I might be pregnant or a recovering alcoholic, so that was inappropriate. Then I asked for the gluten free menu from which I ordered the farmhouse tacos in corn tortillas. Adam did not put it in as gluten free so they had to remake it (originally delivered on flour tortillas). The manager delivered my meal without an apology or any offer of compensation. The apology would have been enough, but now it isn't. I can only assume this is indicative of Mimi`s customer service since two employees were rude, and therefore I shall not return.

We tried to dine at Mimi's Cafe on Sunday 2/4/2018. We had another poor experience making this 4 in a row, so we are done trying. I've been eating at various Mimis for 20 plus year's, California, Illinois,Texas, and others. Sunday there was a 30 minute wait yet a 1/3 of the dinning room had empty tables. Service is terrible, slow, and servers are untrained. The management just falls short of providing quality service. Servers and cooks use their mobile devices rather than working, it was awful and those habits pose health and sanitary concerns ad well...I don't understand how Yelp users rate this Mimi's at 2.5 and Google reviews are low as well, yet the restaurant's management makes no quality improvements. Do not go to this Mimi's, trust the reviews friends.
