Outback Steakhouse’s Management: A Disgrace to Employees
I’ve worked at Outback Steakhouse for 20 years and had the unfortunate experience of being unceremoniously fired with absolutely no explanation. After dedicating two decades of hard work, showing up consistently, and earning two Employee of the Month awards, I was let go like I was just another disposable part of their operation.
What makes this situation even more infuriating is the complete lack of transparency. No reason was given. No conversation was had. After all my years of service, I was simply ignored and dismissed without any respect or decency. I’ve always been committed to providing excellent service to guests and supporting my team, but apparently, that’s not valued by Outback’s management.
The way they treated me after two decades of loyalty speaks volumes about how little they value their employees. Disrespectful, unprofessional, and downright cruel, this company has no regard for the people who have helped make them successful. I wouldn’t recommend working here to anyone who values their time, effort, and well-being.
But the insult didn’t stop there. I’ve left a Google review for 579 consecutive days, hoping for some kind of acknowledgment or response. NOTHING. No apology. No explanation. No attempt to even engage with the person who worked their tail off for them for two decades. Not a single response. Apparently, the management at Outback doesn’t believe in recognizing loyal employees or treating people with basic human decency.
If you’re considering working for Outback, think again. They don’t care about you, your hard work, or your well-being. All they care about is their bottom line. Save yourself the heartache and stress.
Outback Steakhouse should be ashamed of how they treat their employees.
Update:
I cannot express how utterly disappointing my experience was with Joint Venture Partner Keith Jackson. After losing my job due to blatant discrimination, I reached out to him hoping for support and assistance. Instead, I received nothing but empty promises and a complete lack of action. Keith contacted me to "investigate" my claims, and after what I can only assume was a minimal effort, he confirmed that everything I had said was 100% correct. However, despite acknowledging the injustice I had faced, he proceeded to tell me there was absolutely nothing he could do.
It was clear that he didn’t care one bit about my situation. His response was cold and dismissive, and it felt like he was just going through the motions without any genuine concern for my well-being or the discrimination I had experienced. To make matters worse, after claiming everything I said was valid, he simply washed his hands of the situation.
If you're looking for someone who will actually help, do not waste your time with Keith Jackson. He’s unprofessional, unhelpful, and completely apathetic to those in need of support. I am thoroughly disgusted with this experience and would never recommend him to anyone.

Food was good. Service however was absolutely terrible. Michael L was our server. About the only thing he did was take our order. Couldn't even get a refill on water. It was not busy and he only had 3 other tables besides ours.

Too bad I can’t give a one star, placed a carryout and I was up charged 3.00$$ because I wanted the blue cheese chopped salad, mine was embarrassing it was missing the pecans and blue cheese crumbles and it was a brutally sad pre bagged iceberg lettuce mix. Not the mixed greens the menu said, I was given two butters for my bread and between them both there was maybe a tablespoon of butter. Bread was terrible and undercooked or old who knows? How can you just advertise a salad one way and flat out give something completely different. Service was fast but I guess you can’t mess that up when your restaurant has 3 people in it. 30$ down the drain go across the street to Texas Roadhouse folks and actually get what you order!!!!

This location has gone down hill since I've been 6 months ago. The restaurant wasn't crowded but filled however the drink service was slow and asked multiple times for water. Broccoli and asparagus sides were soggy and unseasoned. The chicken and shrimp pasta was really light on sauce. I expected better but I think other steak restaurants locations in the area are doing it better currently.

It's too expensive, they have been raising prices for a long time now. Other steakhouses offer much better value.

Very nice staff, good service.
Baked potato and salad were good. Macaroni and Cheese wasn't very cheesy. ??
Overall, a good spot for dinner.
Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free menu which made it easy for my elderly dad to order. Thank you, Outback!

The "owner" kept throwing employees under the bus. Waited forever for food and it was burnt but cold. We waited over an hour for half our food and he kept making excuses but never realized that the food was not what we ordered. This is the worst Putback I have ever been to and do NOT recommend wasting your money. Please go anywhere else.

We were told our table would be ready in 25 minutes we waited 1 hour. When our food came out, the macaroni did not come out with the meal there was no sauce on the pasta. It took 40 minutes to bring the sauce and the macaroni. The owner lied as to why.

We had a great meal at this location. The staff was friendly, they accommodated my daughter’s allergy very well, and the food was cooked perfectly. 10/10!
