This was one of my favorite restaurant.
But these days, owner has changed and less Japanese food, more chinese food.
I want them to make mochi donut instead of chinese donut.
We had the best experience at Toyko Grill and Sushi Buffet!!! My bf had been once before and knew I would love it… he was right! The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. They were on top of removing our plates and clearing the table the whole time. Our hibachi was cooked and seasoned to perfection! And the sushi and all the buffet items were very fresh and tasty! I’m very picky about sushi and this exceeded my expectations. I definitely ate my share for the price. I saw some people commenting on the price but it’s such great quality food and handled properly—you get what you pay for! When it comes to raw fish you don’t want to go cheap so I don’t agree with those saying it’s overpriced. This is going to be our new spot for sure!
It's an expensive buffet, but it's good.
Harry (Mr. Happiness) was an awesome server! The food was amazing!! There are so many options to try. Our experience was 10 out of 10! Wow! If you love Japanese food you MUST try this place. The price was low compared to other all you can buffets but for the price one can get oysters, muscles, sushi, octopus, hibachi, all kinds of desserts. With a family of 6, EVERYONE, even the picky kids, left feeling totally satisfied. We wish we lived nearby so we could eat here every weekend but now when we do come up we KNOW where to go. It's freakin' amazing. And again our server was awesome- he was always with such a great smile and fun personality. Oh! And you've got to try the Apple Sake! The smoothest shot you'll ever drink. 😋Thanks for such a great experience!
Wonderful wonderful place. My favorite food is sushi and this was the best sushi place I've ever been too. I've visited Hawai'i, Japan and Korea. And eaten at amazing Japanese styled restaurants. But this place above all else has an amazing atmosphere and unbeatable service. Buffet or non buffet restaurant. I would highly highly highly recommend it!! Our server was Harry and he was a ball of sunshine. Wonderful service all and out! And a great experience. Best place I've ever been too.
Wonderful Food and Waitress! Best Asian Buffet ever. They also sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and gave a small gift! 10/10!
Very good fresh food! Very clean atmosphere would highly recommend!
Had lunch there today, I got a calamari ring and it was so rubbery I could not eat it, the mozzarella stick had no cheese, the stir fry had no flavor other than the beef tasting spoiled. To spend that amount of money, I expected a lot more.
Stopped here while in town the night before visiting Kings Island. Read reviews, and it looked good to me. I've never been to a make your own hibachi restaurant before. Let's just say if I had one of these places near home I'd be in trouble as I'd be going once or twice a month.
Had an assortment of veggies, tofu, beef and shrimp for my hibachi w/fried rice/udon noodles and varying fried foods and sushi. Everything was absolutely excellent. When we come to KI again and are in town, you but we are stopping here again for dinner.
Note that photos may represent food that I had already started enjoying, figured I better take photos before it was all gone. :)

Excellent selection, very simple system for the buffet, just load up and eat! Your hibachi order will take a bit of time to cook, but everything else is pre-prepped, excellent!

Everything is fine except for one thing, the director needs to take action, because when you pay for the account, they simply oblige you to pay the type, do not give you the right to choose, and withdraw from the card, it's just terrible, since we clients have to decide how much to leave but not oblige us.

We saw this restaurant on tiktok and was so excited to check it out! The food had been sitting out for awhile and didn’t taste very good but we ignored that and still tried to enjoy our meal. I ordered a Thai Milk Tea and was served a Taro Milk Tea. Upon asking for it to be removed from the check, they said no and the manager came out to tell us we couldn’t take it off even though we did not drink it. She began repeatedly telling us how we “don’t understand” and talking down to us. What started with a nice request ended up being very disheartening. We will not be going back here, bad food and very bad service.

It's a sushi/hibachi buffet restaurant.
There is a large selection of Japanese appetizers, tempura, sushi, sashimi, and deserts.
You come here if you are hungry and just want a large volume of food. By no means was the food bad, but it wasn't great. Mid-quality that you would expect for an all you can eat buffet.
Meats for the hibachi were pretty dry, but the flavor was decent. I went with udon which I generally liked.
Takoyaki wasn't bad. Gyoza were a little too cold by the time I ate them.
The fish on the sushi rolls were thinly sliced but decent. Regular sushi was a little better. Sashimi was really cold like it was just out of the freezer.
Deserts were tasty, except I'm pretty sure the creme puffs were filled with cake frosting and not actual creme. A shame because they're my favorite in Japan. I really enjoyed the brownies.
Overall, it was about $40 for dinner after tip was included. I think it was a bit pricier than I was expecting, but I can imagine if you really just want to eat a ton and don't mind okay quality, but not amazing sushi, you'll get a lot of bang for your buck. There is a very large selection to choose from, too, so there is a lot of appeal in trying many different things.
I found it funny they play all Korean pop music. Would love to hear some Japanese music!
Staff was very kind, welcoming, with very quick service, so 5 stars for that.
Beer and alcohol prices were also very affordable, too.
