We visited Bella Serra b/c of the rave reviews and after eating there we suspect some of those reviews are not legit. How do you mess up house Italian? By adding sweet and low. You know, like they do in Italy🙄. We should have left after the salad. My husband ordered the lasagna. It was a big pile of cheese. The noodles were weak and had the same consistency as the cheese. I had to listen to him complain about this the rest of the night. The menu claimed that both of our entrees came with meat sauce. I would disagree. I had to hunt to find a few specks of meat. I ordered the gnocchi. I don’t expect homemade gnocchi but there was nothing special about this dish. The meatballs tasted generic. Have fans of this place never had Italian-American food before? I really don’t get the hype.

What a great place. It is an old school type Italian restaurant with great food and service. The portions are very generous and the pepperoni rolls are outstanding. We have never had a bad meal or bad service here. They make you feel like family.
