Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

There are three of us in the car and we each got a small blizzard. I could barely hear the guy when ordering his voice trailed off. Then he tried hitting me the blizzards without knowing which was which. But overall it was good.

Horrible. Ordered a #1 burger and the onion was cut thicker than the burger. The 5 pickles were piled in one spot. The lettuce leaf had the thick middle/stem piece. The large blizzard was only mixed half way down in the cup, at the bottom is was just plain ice cream. The place is dirty in the dining room and the kitchen is horribly dirty from what you can see from the counter as you order. I feel sorry for the owner, within the last year they demolished the old building and built a brand new one. Unfortunately in the transition of change they forgot about customer service, cleanliness, and making sure the order is right. Unfortunately that is the new normal at any restaurant now. Or maybe that is just how people in Massillon run their business and expect people to just accept it.

Huge disappointment! I mean, it’s DQ so expectations weren’t high to begin with. We stood at the counter for 4-5 minutes before anyone bothered to take our order. There was no one in line in front of us. Our food came out fairly quickly, but my chicken tenders and fries were room temp. Ok….
I also got a blizzard. Which I threw away. The cup and spoon had sticky blue crap on them. Gross! I asked for a refund. As I was waiting for the manager to figure out how to run the register to process my refund I had plenty of time to see into the back. Shoulda checked that out first. I would not eat anything that came out of that kitchen again. The blizzard machine was beyond nasty. Ice cream and chocolate splattered all over it and running down the back. I watched an employee literally tip it backwards to wipe under it but leave it that filthy.
I half expected Gordon Ramsay to burst through the doors and tell them to “shut it down”. Yeah. It was that bad. The franchisee just spent a lot of money to rebuild a new store. Too bad they didn’t invest some money in training their employees in customer service and food safety.

Constant long wait times, today our blizzards were not even fully blended- half the cup was just plain vanilla soft serve…never seems to be enough people working and the poor kids there are always stressed out. Not their fault, but management needs to do a better job training and making sure things are done correctly.

Although i love this dairy queen the last 4 times my blizzard wasn't all mixed the bottom half was just vanilla ice cream .

If I could give a 0 star I would. Everytime it’s a huge wait and they pull Every single car even if it’s just for ice cream

Me and my family go here ALL THE TIME. Dairy Queen has always been my favorite place to go when I'm out and about, but the last two times me and my family have ordered from here their lines back up quickly, and employees stand around acting clueless. The fries sit on the counter under the light and sit. Employees don't take care of front walk-in lines, and they stand on their phones.

I like most others have given this location multiple chances. I agree with the fact they need adult supervision. My second trip I pulled in well before close, I'm talking hours, and not a soul could be seen. Doors locked, drive thru ignored. Today, i pulled in for a quick bite and you can tell the girl on the speaker sounds nothing but bothered. She's short and rude with every word out of her mouth. What a waste to build a nice new building and fill it with the least competent people.
