Went for our first time during lunch. We can’t wait to go back and have dinner. My husband and I both had the cheeseburger special- I had fries and he had onion rings. The food was EXCELLENT. The onion rings are made fresh and were so crispy. The burgers were perfectly made and juicy. Fresh cut fries were very good. What a hidden gem Massillon has! Highly recommend and we will go back!
Listen...my husband and I have been coming here since they opened and have never been disappointed. I read a few negative reviews, only a few on here should definitely tell you something. Can't please everyone, yet, they are with almost everyone who has been there. Everyone has an off day, right? If you had a negative experience, try it again, I doubt you'll be disappointed. Family owned, family recipes, where the food is home cooked. Not many restaurants serve food...
We were 1st timers at Smitty's tonight and OMG this place is beyond amazing! I literally saw angels singing when I took my first bite of Prime Rib! It was cooked to perfection!! Even the side salad was delectable! And the sauerkraut balls and beer battered mushrooms were to die for! What a hidden gem in the heart of Massillon! The staff was so friendly that it felt like home! If you haven't tried their food, you are truly missing out on an out of this world experience!...
