Stunning! ambience, decor (with or without seasonal display, we will be copying many of the design ideas!), menu choices, hostesses, servers..all of it. Enjoyed early dinner so much that we came back later after Massilon museum event with family and did it all over again. On the second visit we chose the bar and a group was annoyingly loud, ruining the ambiance..we asked to be moved and even though it was very close to closing time and most rooms were already cleared, we were very cordially moved to a room to ourselves. No eyerolling or groans from our server..just accommodated us. Gorgeous, gracious and guilty pleasure menu..to sum it up.

Service was wonderful even being all the way up on the third floor. Super friendly and helpful. Food is by far some of the best in the Akron/Canton area for the price. Would highly recommend.
My mom and I went for dinner but it wasn't the best. Her vegan meal was super small, definitely not worth the price of $24 (especially since it was just zoodles and mushrooms). My food was okay, steak wasn't super flavorful, salad was cut but my mashed potatoes were cold. Probably won't be coming back
Stopped in on a whim after an event in Massillon. Everything about the restaurant was lovely. The service and food were exceptional as was the atmosphere. Will be back
The Parmesan crusted chicken with zucchini noodles was delicious. The 14 oz steak was ok. The drinks were very good. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed. We will be back with our friends.
The service was fantastic, the shrimp appetizer was fantastic. I would reccomend to anyone.
Was able to dine outside last night. Our server was excellent. So accommodating. Had a fabulous meal on the beautiful patio. Dine outside before the season ends and enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I was wonderfully surprised to find this gem in Massillon. Since I was by myself, I only had a few items, but they were divine.
The blackened shrimp and cornbread appetizer still has my mouth watering, and the scallop entree was deliciously light—if rated just like you’d expect summer would.
Drinks were superb, and the service was impeccable (professional and homey at the same time).
Since I have no chill, I spent over $100 by myself, but you could be much more budget friendly if you wanted :)
I wish I’d taken photos, but I was way too busy enjoying myself.
Very noisy! Wasn't good for a date night, the room was so echoey and loud it was almost unbearable. However, our server was good, the food was decent, and I would try it again-may be with friends. The filet could've used a little more seasoning for me but it was cooked perfectly and hot. Crab cakes were very good and altho I found the price to add on a salad to be rather high for how small it was, the strawberry salad was delicious.
I wanted to try this place for a long while but was so disappointed in the food, I will not go back. It's a lovely venue with an old historical building. The place was at capacity so the noise level was terribly loud and not relaxing. We practically had to yell at one another to be heard.
Sadly, none of my food was good. From the bread to the salad to the steak bites to the smashed red skins....all had problems!! A high end restaurant should start with great, fresh bread for customers. Sadly the bread that was served to us was dry and stale. Then the $7 salad was nothing but lettuce with 3 or 4 slivers of parmesan cheese with zero flavor. Usually parmesan cheese has a lot of flavor but this was not the case. The Balsamic dressing was also bland. There was No salt & pepper at the table and we had to ask for it twice. I thought things couldn't get worse but when the steak bites arrived I could only take one bite. It was supposed to be filet but was way overcooked, resulting in dry, rubbery bites. The steak bites were floating in a bizarre tasting sauce which was overly salty and very strong tasting with the presence of herbs and rosemary. I took one taste of the steak bites and called the waitress over and told her it was inedible. She asked if I wanted something else and I said No (after strike 3 with the bread, salad and steak bites). I told her I would eat the smashed redskin potatoes I ordered as a side....but when I tasted them, they were so drenched in garlic, they too were inedible. They were also way overcooked and tasted heated over. I had the waitress remove the steak bites from my bill as well as the potatoes.
I think this place has potential due to the lovely building but they need a new chef with some different recipes and perhaps a new menu.
What stood out was the improper use of seasonings, either too little or too much and my food was way overcooked. Their prices are rather high but I don't mind paying for a high quality meal.

Highly recommend!
After reading many reviews online and in print about this restaurant, we decided to drive an hour to eat here. The overall experience was good. Our waitress was really good and attentive to our needs. The restaurant ambiance, decor and history was awesome. However, the food was good but not great. I can't say that I did not like it but for us to go out of our way, it needed to be special. The experience was a fun one and we were glad to check it out but not sure we would make a special trip to go here again.
Set in a unique, well-decorated house in Massillon, we were very happy with our dining experience. We started with pretzel mini loaves, which were an off-menu option. They came with beer cheese, which was amazing. We also tried the pot stickers, which were also yummy, especially with the accompanying sauce.
For entrees, we had a variety of their offerings. The parm crusted chicken sandwich was huge! It was nice and juicy and came with really good kettle chips. Another group member had the strip steak. They were pleased with the tender meat and taste. The shrimp scampi linguine was exquisite. Lots of plump shrimp with a tasty sauce. Another person had the braised short ribs that came with garlic mashed potatoes and an assortment of veggies. They wanted more! We had the hot honey pepperoni flatbread, which was finger-licking good. Finally, we had the wagyu burger. It was a juicy patty served on a pretzel bun.
When you go there, make sure to check out the top floor. It's a cool bar with a prohibition secret.
The building itself is gorgeous and parking is ample. Unfortunately, the atmosphere and food don't rise to the occasion. We walked in the door to club music at practically club levels. The decor is definitely early TJ Maxx, late Home Goods, not at all appropriate for the age and style of the building. Our server was good, and the wine was affordable. We started with the crab cakes. They tasted old and sad. It made us thankful that we hadn't ordered true entrees. We each had a beet and goat salad with salmon. The beets were listed as roasted but instead were commercial pickled beets. I wouldn't have ordered that salad had I known. The salmon and rest of the salad was tasty though. Overall not a horrible experience, just underwhelming.
They weren't able to accommodate seating us on the first floor for someone who can't go up stairs easily.. even with open tables. Then they sat us next to a moldy air conditioner. Other than that, it was okay.
