Waited for an hour to order our food
Waited another hour and still didn't get our food will not come to sonics on Wales Ave belden Jackson township ever again

This Sonic is a joke and has the absolute worst customer service. I have never visited a worst run place with customer service this bad. This review is not based on a single experience either because it happens every time I try and give them another chance. This is only the Jackson Township location as I have visited other Sonics and never had a problem like this. When you pull up to the drive trough no one acknowledges you and if they ask for your order then they ignore you after. This is what happened to me today. I pulled up and they asked for my order then nothing, no thank you, no total, no can you repeat that, just nothing. I am not kidding when I say this Sonic needs to do 1 of 3 things
1. Hire more people
2. Fire whoever is in charge and allows this to continue
3. The one I honestly would recommend, just close down
This Sonic is that bad and should you make a poor decision to go, good luck placing an order. Should you by a maricle get to place an order good luck getting it or having them get it right. I am not even going to get into half filled bags of onion rings or hollow cheese sticks but these are also a thing at this location.
If I were a corporate executive for Sonic I would close this location for giving the organization a bad reputation.

The slowest service ever. Push the button and no response after 10 minutes. Come on do better it is not even that busy. I don't know what they would do if they were actually busy. đĄ

Their sonic blasts have almost nothing in them. Just vanilla ice cream.

Worst service ever. Didnât get everything right on the order looking at the receipt. Austin, who took my order, took the order ON HIS PHONE. I paid for my food, gave the tip and told him that I didnât receive my ranch. He then took the tip, and never came back. Will never be coming back here again.
Also, might want to change the phone number on the receipt as itâs the phone number of an old employee.

I remember this Sonic being excellent but that has been a decade or so. This time was not very good to be honest. I went with my 8yr old son and mother. The food took over 30 minutes to arrive and they were moderately busy it was 210pm on a friday. So not peak hours. When the food finally arrived it was luke warm. The burger said ketchup and mayo but arrived with tomatoes and onions. Not a big deal although onions are repulsive to me but i scrapped them off. No biggie but room temp burgers tots and fries made the meal less than spectacular. The oil had not been changed in some time or degraded quickly. Either way it seemed old. The bill was $42 for 3 full meals so not terrible in price either. Unfortunately the service was acceptable and the food wouldnt bring us back anytime soon. I regret not going to Swensons.

Ordered food and waited approximately 45 minutes to get it. There were ZERO cars there while we waited. Told them we needed a bag of ice at the drive through. Came out with no ice. Told the girl we needed to order ice and she went back inside. 10 minutes goes by so I drive back around to the window and she comes to the window and asks if she can help me? I said I need ice. 4 times I asked to purchase a bag of ice. Music was blaring and bumping like it was a dance club. Employees appeared to be high as a kite and Austin was very unprofessional calling my wife âBabyâ and âHoneyâ at the window and over the drive through. What the hell is going on with what people hired and employed. Freezing cold food that was awful. Not a single car came in 45-55 minutes we were there and the employees were inside vibing to music wondering what we wanted from a fast food restaurant. ORDER # 59666 Stay away from this location. You canât call the store about the issue they wonât answer the phone.
sat at the speaker for 10 minutes+ with no answer at 11:20 am, pulled up to the window, they didnât even bat an eye at me, and continued to do their chores as if there wasnât anyone here, kid you there was 3+ cars behind me while this was happening. i just watched sonic lose $100+ in 15 minutes because none of the employees would take anyoneâs order.
I hate picking up orders here. Iâve been sitting here over 20 minutes, one girl inside and keeps doing all the orders behind me. Oh, and Iâm still sitting here waiting.

Attempted to pick up order for a delivery service. App says walk in store to pick up order, however all doors day employees only. Pulled into a spot, pressed the red button (3 times) and never received help. Waited 12 minutes and had to cancel my pickup. Cost me time and money. Wonât pick up any more orders from Sonic in Wales.

Two working kiosks, and apparently no one inside. We sat in line for 15 minutes, it never moved. Place looks like it's about to go out of business. One of the workers was walking around on the side walk smoking. Glad we drove 30 minutes to have the sonic experience. We ended up at the tried and true Swenson's anyhow.

Incompetent workers. Don't know how to fix anything when it breaks and apparently the manager in charge never answers the phone when there is crisis. Also, the only Sonic in the US that won't still make a Peanut Butter Bacon Milkshake, cause they "no longer have bacon", yet, there is bacon on other menu items. So confusing.

Workers were nice, the 2 that were there, and the food came out hot and tasted fresh made. What wasn't right, was the wait. One car in front of us and the wait from ordering to actually getting food was about 20 minutes or so. All the stalls were closed, so it was drive thru only. I'm assuming they were cooking one car at a time seeing they had no staff. Seems this location has no staff which affects the lengthy wait time for food. They try, but yeah nobody wants to wait 20 minutes or so in a line. It's kind of sad for the workers that ARE there trying to make it work. Where is corporate??
Mo is hard working and very friendly. She was swamped and kept her composure AND still managed to get us hot tasty food in a reasonable time. Impressive.
