Arrived at the Nook 6pm. We were seated in a great horseshoe booth. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks and another 15 minutes for our orders to be taken. 6 tables were seated after us, ate and left before we ever received our food. We asked to speak with a manager after we were told they were plating out food and another 25 min passed. No sign of a manager. 3 of us received our orders 2 hours and 10 min after arriving. My sister ordered swordfish and it arrive 17 minutes after our meals. Bruce the manager finally came over. Never apologized but blamed the night on 3 weeks prior 2 cooks quit. That doesn't explain the epicfailure of our evening. The Food was amazing. Great steak. Ribs were great and swordfish too. However, the server Amy had too many tables and Bruce was awful. We didn't ask for anything just the truth. We got nothing not even an apology. I hope it was just a unfortunate rare thing, but his attitude was he didn't give a clap. If I owned a business, I want an excellent caring manager not one who blames others

Excellent dining experience. From a beautifully flavored ribeye seared to perfection to the overall relaxing vibe of the environment. Only open select days at certain times so check the hours before planning a trip. Except to pay up a bit for the evening. If you are able to have the manager, Mr.Budd, create a portrait to commemorate the event it will be a memory to cherish in pencil. He is a fantastic artist with works featured in galleries who also happens to enjoy drawing guests.

I got the half rack rib dinner with a half pound of Jamaican jerk wings. oh and the cheesecake at the end was heaven. I highly recommend this place

Wow. Found this spot while camping and have been back multiple times. We crave it in between! Try the large sampler for $48. It's at least 3 meals worth and gives you a taste of all they make. It's all delicious and from there you can decide what to get next time. There will be a next time. Homemade cheesecakes with seasonal flavors are undeniable. I don't even like cheesecake. The cranberry was unforgettable. Don't be deterred if there is a wait. It goes very quickly. The close seating is fun for people watching. It's amazing how many ways good food can be expressed. Come hungry, leave happy.

Holiday parties going. Didn't affect the level of service at all. Server attentive and food up to standard that The Nook is known for.
Had to ask for silverware. Place was cold. Steak ordered well done came out medium at best and my husbands steak was tough, grissly even though ordered it medium. Their offered solution for my steak was to put it back on the grill so that my husband and I wouldn’t be eating together. Overpriced food for the poor quality.

I've been in several times. Love everything about this place. The Brisket is bomb. I've had the wings previously, they are thick and meaty.
Inside atmosphere is very classy, kinda like a cross between an old school deer lodge and a modern jazz club
My favorite part of this restaurant is the rotating seasonal menu. They're always trying new stuff and I love what the staff comes up with
Cheesecake is always a good move here too, it's great.

We came there for a birthday celebration for my brother in law on 11/23/24. We had 4 section filled to capacity. The staff was amazing! They managed to wait on everyone. They were efficient and the food was wonderful. I had the NY strip steak with brussel sprouts and baked potato. My partner had the short ribs. We were not disappointed. Please give a big shout out to all of our servers.

First time visiting and I can't wait to go back! The fried green tomatoes were perfect and the sauce that accompanied it really complemented the flavor. Brisket was moist and delicious. The smokehouse burger was amazing. Sweet potato cheesecake was absolutely fantastic. I hate cornbread and thought the jalapeno cornbread was great. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant.
