This place is a hidden gem. I had never heard of it before. Absolutely amazing! Onion rings were some of the best. We also tried the smoked burger, brisket, ribs, Mac n cheese, beans, and slaw. All were very delicious. Finished the meal off with a slice of Carmel cheesecake. Portions are good sized too. Cannot wait to return.

Restaurant review: The Nook Smokehouse and Grille. A Hidden Gem! This restaurant has a very nice relaxing atmosphere coupled with natural light and beautiful art. The service was excellent, friendly and punctual. The coconut shrimp is nice and crunchy paired with a great tangy sweet sauce, all shrimp in your mouth and not batter ?. The soup is Hearty and flavorful full of great ingredients. The baked beans are full of smokey flavor. The lobster mac and cheese was pretty good, a good balance of cheese and noodles, however I would like to taste more lobster next time. The cornbread was excellent and very moist, warm and buttery. The ribs, steak and brisket were very tender and had a nice smoky flavor melt in your mouth, greatness, each meat is paired with a nice selection of sauces you can try. The desserts are freshly made each day. The jalapeno cheesecake and the vanilla caramel cheesecake each were very rich and velvety, with a sweet cornbread soft crust. Overall 9/10. Great environment, friendly staff. Food served undercooked, and cold. Dessert was great. My husband and I went while it was some what busy, and I had to keep asking for refills on drinks. Glass went empty for long periods of time. They did offer to take care of the bad food on the bill. It was also very cold inside.Parking: Gravel lot with some potholes

Had dinner with friends here recently. Great little place. Number one for me was the value. For what my wife and I got, it was a great value. Half rack of ribs were tender with great flavor and with the added spicy barbecue they were just right. Baked beans had chunks of brisket an weren't too sweet, very enjoyable. Onion rings seem to be hand breaded with a nice crunch. I had to try the mango jalapeño cheesecake and it did not disappoint... don't be scared of it. It's not spicy at all, but is more about the unique combination. Bartender was very nice with a great smile. Our sever was very friendly with great recommendations and kept her cool the entire visit even though she was very busy with a packed house. My only knock is the almost non existent lighting in the parking lot. In the evening it is super dark out! I do recommend this place. Food was great, drinks were made well, service was fantastic, and pricing was better than fair. Enjoy it!
