My husband took me there to show me the restaurant he went to with his family growing up close by in Brookfield. We were coming home to Coumbus from a funeral in PA. I had no expectations, but what I found was my husbands trip down memory lane! The restaurant is exactly as he remembered it last, 40 years ago! Its super vintage! Kris, our server, was outstanding! And the Lasagna was the best I have ever had in my life! It literally melted in my mouth! Thank you guys for an outstanding experoence!

Coming from an Italian background I would not recommend the food. The service and ambience was delightful. But the folliwing issues occured. Italian dressing for your salad never arrived.. Oil and vinegar only. Medium steak had more fat and Montreal seasoning then you can ask for. Bread and butter was delicious but not enough for a meal over 100.00 dollars. Now the drinks were on the apot and they dis what the can so to fix the issues. Its not the White Rose we are used too.

server seemed irritated we were there. friendly with a regular table but pushy with the rest of us. booths are worn out and decor is rough. food was OK except the pizza for my son. terrible. and the erratic hours seals the deal very disappointed.

I was there last Saturday night as well, and to respond to that nasty comment about the service they had two people in the entire store all night. They were extremely understaffed because of numerous things . You had a big party and ur kids were being loud and standing and moving. Now to ur reference on the table that was served first 1 they came in and sat down before you and had already had menus they came in about 2 mins after all of you while you were still getting seated and situated. They also had i believe 3 people instead of 8-10 and ur comments walking out were very unnecessary and immature.
