Well we walked in around 8 stood by the wait to be seated sign while two male servers were cleaning their sections by the front door. Neither employee acknowledged us standing there with any sort of greeting so after about 5 min we walked over to the bar and sat ourselves. There were 6 or 8 people sitting at the bar some had food some just had drinks. Once agin we sat and waited for someone to greet us offer a drink anything!?!? Well after 5 or 6 min the blonde bartender came out of the kitchen chewing a mouthful of food looked at us and stopped at the end of the bar to chat with friends...all this went down about two and a half hours before closing time. I took a min to scan the room and not one person working had a smile on their face they all looked pissed they had to be off moms couch so we took that as 15 min of life we will never get back lol. Being from out of town we went outside and found a spot downtown called Dale's we went to great food and service. Sometimes bad service puts you in a good place

Haley was outstanding. She was definitely on top of everything from clearing space ok the table to make sure we had space to making sure we had drinks and that the food was good. Great atmosphere. Keep it up beer barrel crew!

After viewing the Total Solar Eclipse my wife, my mother and I stopped at Beer Barrel Pizza & Grill in a Lima Ohio for an early dinner. Let me tell you, the food and service was amazing. First we asked to get seated near an electrical outlet to charge our nearly dead phones, then we got a few delicious brews and an out-of-this-world raspberry cider from Cider Boys in WI. Ordered garlic knots and a pound of sweet & tangy Thai chicken "chunks". The knots were slathered in delicious garlic butter and were perfect soft bready goodness. The chunks were hefty bites of all white meat chicken and the Thai sauce was sweet, tangy, and just a bit spicy. Then we ordered a 14 inch thin & crispy crust pie with pepperoni, ham, bacon, green and red peppers. The crust was super crispy and the cheese pull was pretty amazing even though my first bite was nuclear! And the best part were the Monday specials. The drinks were $3 pints, the chicken chunks were only $10 (normally $15) and the pizza started at $14 +toppings (normally $20). Great location, atmosphere, & the building and decor are great. It's got a nice outdoor patio, a huge bar with fantastic neon signs all over the place, very clean restrooms too. If we're ever in Lima again this is definitely a contender for lunch or dinner.

We only got some appetizers, but our server was very friendly and didn't mind that my brother and I sat for a bit just to talk. We got the soft pretzels and chicken chunks. The pretzels were decent, but the chicken chunks are a must!

Took an hour and a half to get our food. Fries were cold burger was over cooked. Will not be going back. Can't believe this place has been in business for 60 years.

Me, my buddy, and my dad visited Beer Barrel while participating in the Maumee River Walleye Run. The food was excellent, consistent all weekend, and - Very well priced!!!!!! The service was 5/5, refills were completed consistently without needing to wave down a waitress. The beer was fresh and cold. The ambience and vibe are one of the best parts about the restaurant!! A Texas Roadhouse esque, Buffalo Wild Wings mix of ambience and comfort even on a packed out Saturday night!!!

Nice family friendly place. Waitress was fast and attentive. Pizza was good. Chicken and noodles dinner is delicious. Reasonably priced. Very clean inside, plenty of warm indoor waiting space. Can't wait for warm weather to enjoy the nice patio.Kid-friendliness: The loud fun atmosphere makes it a great place to bring kids for a decent dinner experience. They have a crane machine that my children won lots of little rubber duckies

Burger was great, as were the fries. Fries were incredibly thick, which I like.Burger was well prepared and not dripping with grease.I'd bring my wife over if the restaurant were closer to home. We'll have to catch them the next time we're driving by.
