The service let us down on this visit. We arrived for dinner at 7:30 p.m. It took longer than usual for our server to present herself, and then to bring our drinks to the table. I ordered the sharable Biscuit Beignets, and somehow, I think they got added to our order as Fried Okra. By the time I got them, they were for dessert! I'm not sure it was a misunderstanding or not, but my order for an unsweet tea was delivered as a sweet tea. That happens. No biggy. Yet, it took far too long for the replacement to be at my table. My wife asked for some additional ranch for her salad, and by the time it came out it was time to go. I have no complaints about the food. I love the Maple Bacon Chicken dinner. I love that plate! My wife had meatloaf, and all the food met our expectations. This restaurant has some issues in the service sector.

Me and my family of four went to have breakfast at this Maumee location to start once we were seated it took our waitress over 10 mins to come introduce herself and get our drinks ordered. We ordered our food and once it came out it, it did not look appeasing one bit, my wife ordered French toast looked as if the bread was smashed, a guy across from us ordered French toast also and his looked great, her scrambled eggs with cheese were folded eggs and and I was told that is how they come from the waitress also her loaded hash brown casserole had a slice of cheese on top that seemed as if it was dried out or sitting under a heat lamp for too long, the waitress decided upon herself to send a manager over without my acknowledgement and when she arrived she asked what the issue was and I told her that her cooks could do better and she said she would replace the hash brown casserole but never came back with a replacement. We decided to pack up and leave when I noticed the same manager talking to other staff and looking our way with a nasty look on her face. Service has just gone down hill.

The quality of the food received from this location has been touch and go for such a long time now. When ordering take out they are constantly forgetting items. Just this Friday, March the 28th, I ordered the new Cajun Jumbo Shrimp Skillet. Not only did they not give me the garlic toast, I did not receive any of the creole sauce. So there was nothing Cajun about this dish. I got charged for a Cajaun skillet but only received unseasoned grilled shrimp and rice. Two weeks ago, I was in restaurant and ordered the same dish. Was told by my server that they were out of rice, did I want the shrimp and grits instead. I said absolutely. I have had the Cajun shrimp and grits before and it was delicious. When it was brought out, again, no creole sauce and just a bowl of buttered grits with unseasoned grilled shrimp, and not brought out on the sizzling skillet. When I inquired about the sauce that was supposed to be on it the server acted as if they did not know what I was talking about. Not cooking the dish correctly and not getting it as it’s supposed to be prepared does not get you what you are paying for. This location needs to do better.

The one time I went they were out of sugar free syrup and as a diabetic who wanted pancakes I couldn’t eat so I left. The next time I went I waited at my table for 20 minutes and the food had not come out so I left again. The one in Perrysburg is much better.

Normally, I like the food here. However, this time it was a bad experience. The Mac and cheese was dry, the turkey was too salty, the okra was so greasy and mostly batter not much actual vegetable, I did not get the cranberry sauce I asked for, and the dressing was gross. The dressing just tasted like mashed up hushpuppies with gravy on it. This was the worst meal I ever had from this restaurant. I was totally disappointed and I wasted my money!!!

Cracker Barrel put me on hold for 40 minutes when I called to complain about the takeout order I had just picked up. No plastic ware, no butter, biscuits were hard(like yesterdays). This experience not make customers happy.

Stopped in for a late lunch, and ordered breakfast. We were seated right away. We waited almost ten minutes for a server to acknowledge us, which if we had the right menu we could have studied it and been ready to order. The server took our drink orders and proceeded to clear the table behind us before getting the menu we requested and giving us our drinks. He left us with the breakfast menu for about five minutes before returning to take our orders.

After placing our orders we headed to the bathroom to use the facility and wash our hands. The bathroom looked like a tornado hit it with used hand towels on the floor and one sink did not seem to produce water. The whole place could use a real good cleaning because the lights and items hanging on the walls were dusty.

When the food arrived we were happy to see it. My food was not hot, but not cold. My pancakes were a little over done, eggs tasted good and meats were all at room temp and salty. I am not sure why our food was not warmer but we ate it so we just get in our car and head home.

We got the bill and went to the register...this is where I realized I made a really bad choice of choosing here to eat. The person working the register, our server, the young lady busing tables and someone else were in a conversation about who is related to whom, how they are related and why it all seemed to be important. Once it became our time to check out I have never, in 57 years, ever been treated so poorly for asking legit questions...I had a gift card and wanted to use it...was talked down to about how it may not accept the gift card as the bill was more than the card, and then was told rudely about how to find the pin number off the back of the card...like I have never scratched off the area over the pin number... problem was doing it with finger nails is not as easy as some with a coin...I had no coin. My friend then used her credit card to cover the four dollars the card didn't cover and a tip. If I treated any of the people I work with like I was treated I would expect to be reprimanded or worse...I have no use for Cracker Barrel at all now...shame is, I have two more gift cards given as gifts by students.

Waitress forgot to give our order to the kitchen for 25mins. Then kept blaming how busy it was. Kept running out of stuff. When our meal finally came (almost an hour later) it was overcooked and missing pieces. My daughter got a completely different meal than what she ordered. It was terrible.

Just left. We got seated, ordered our drinks. Server is clearly sick. She is out of breath, nose is stuffy and we can literally see the snot running out of her nose. I went and said she’s sick and shouldn’t be here. We asked for a new server, was told no
Worries. Well she returned with drinks and wanted to take our order. We waited and waited and googled and they got rid of the roast beef so we decided to leave. Place is very blah. Will never return.

Food was good but we had to wait around 10 min before we were asked what we wanted to drink. She brought water with lemon, didn't ask for lemon. Then when we ordered our dishes, she didn't ask what sides we wanted or bread we wanted. Service was not the best.
