Food was excellent and came out quickly. Service not so great as our waitress barely checked on us and had to wait for a refill. The atmosphere was nice, except for the ugly picture if the Big Nut I had to see the whole time. The outdoor seating area looked nice too but was way too hot to sit outdoors that evening.

I want to love Dale’s because of the history and great location, but the food we had was awful. My Mom had a turkey avocado wrap and she said the taste was very peculiar. Not good at all. Lettuce tasted stale. We went to Harvest in Holland recently and their turkey wrap and other wraps are delicious and cheaper.
I had wings which strangely don’t come in 6 or 12 portion offerings. The wings were mostly breading, small, and small portion size for the price. They tasted like cheap frozen wings you’d buy in a grocery store.
We had no visit from the manager to see what’s wrong and no comped meals. The waitress did ask us why we didn’t like our meals, but didn’t even say sorry about that. Until they improve the food we won’t be back.

Good food, good service! I had a crispy chicken wrap with tater tots. Their cod fish sandwich is a nice real cod fish filet, served with your choice of potato, or a cup of soup, very generous portions!

The service is great and the food is prepared well but they have skimped the shroommaker which I have loved so much for years has gotten smaller, and changed to a hamburger bun but it got more expensive. The prices have gotten way out of hand they used COVID as an excuse to upcharge and you're getting less. I hate to say it since after going here for around 40 years.

Great little hideaway in a beautiful location!! It was busy as all get out but I can see why there was a wait!!! Even though I was told they were “short staffed”, you’d never know it. The staff busted their asses and made sure everyone was taken cared of and the food was delicious!! Can’t wait to visit again!

Can take a little longer, but who is in a hurry when you have a nice drink in a patio.

The food and drinks were fantastic. The service was great. They are kid-friendly. My 8 and 10 year old enjoyed the kid menus with the activities (they often feel they’re for kids much younger at most places.) The outdoor seating just needs umbrellas that bend to the sunlight and the music was a little on the loud side considering it was an early evening on a Sunday with not that many people when we were there. We’ll go back if we are in that area again!
Walk into Dale’s Bar & Grill in Maumee and the first thing that hits you is the smell—like heaven if heaven were rolled, sprinkled and smothered in a secret seasoning that I can’t even begin to describe. The second thing that hits you? The bartender, who smells just as good as the kitchen—warm, delightful, and completely unforgettable.
Let’s talk about the wings, because they deserve the spotlight. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a sauce that clings in all the right ways. They arrive at the table steaming, fragrant with garlic, heat, and a whisper of home—kind of like the lady slinging drinks behind the bar. If there’s a perfume that smells like Dale’s wings, I want it bottled and sprayed on every bad decision I ever make.
Even the burgers have a scent that flirts with you from across the room—grilled beef, melting cheese, and toasted buns that somehow smell buttery and bold at the same time. Honestly, I wasn’t sure whether to take a bite or ask it out.
The fries? Golden perfection with just enough salt to make you reach for another beer—which, conveniently, the bartender pours with a smile that could melt your ranch dressing. There’s a little mischief in the air at Dale’s, like the food and the staff are in on the same inside joke: you’re going to leave full, flustered, and already planning your next visit.
Bottom line: Dale’s doesn’t just serve food—it serves up an experience. Come hungry. Leave happy. And if you catch a whiff of something mouthwatering that isn’t coming from the kitchen… well, you’re not imagining it.
