Had dinner there tonight, we usually go a couple times a month - food was great but the whole vibe was off. Drinks sat so long they were watered down and for a higher end restaurant it seemed like a pick up joint. Will take off our rotation for a bit - not a classy spot

I came to this restaurant for dinner with my wife, and the evening started off very well. The appetizers and drinks were enjoyable, and our waiter was extremely attentive and provided excellent customer service.
Unfortunately, the experience took a negative turn when my entrée arrived. I ordered the maple bourbon salmon, and it was not appetizing at all. The dish was cold and overwhelmed with pecans, making the sauce extremely bitter. When the manager came to our table, I showed her my plate, and she agreed that the food was not up to standard. However, she made a joke by calling it “pecan soup,” which I found unprofessional given the situation.
I repeatedly explained that I had lost my appetite and did not want to order anything else. Despite this, the manager insisted that I order another meal and it would be on her, so I reluctantly ordered a steak to go. When it was time to pay, she went back on her word and charged me for the steak. She later stated it was a miscommunication and said she would not cover the steak and offered a free dessert.
At that point, I returned the steak and paid only for the food that we actually ate. The way the situation was handled by the manager felt unprofessional and judgmental. She made it seem as though I was trying to take advantage of the situation, when in reality, my wife and I simply wanted to enjoy a nice dinner.
This experience was disappointing, especially considering how well the evening started. Better communication and a more professional approach from management would have made a significant difference.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Came here for a birthday dinner on 2/9/26 and dinner was far from great. Started off with a salad that had HAIR in it, got another salad just for an even LONGER piece of HAIR in it. Disgusting. Then we waited another 30 mins for our food which let’s start with that in a moment. A table of 9, you would think would get their food all at the same time right? Nope. 8 people got their food while our father had to wait another 10 minutes for his food. Steak was suppose to be medium rare, it was half bloody then half well done. Miso chicken - the chicken was beyond dry and hard as a rock, while also still being pink in the inside. We’ll never return as the birthday dinner experience was just awful and nothing was appetizing, but the bread.

This was a fantastic place to have lunch. I am sure it would be Just as good for dinner. What of their lunch specials was fish and chips. Which was walleye hand breaded and fried there with french fries. I asked if I could get it baked and they said it would be no problem. It was a excellent piece of fish. It was very large. It came with mixed vegetables and coleslaw. The meal was perfect as was the service. Their lunch menu was very good. There were a lot of different things to order from. I would love to look at their dinner menu next time I go. You can cannot go wrong by going there for a meal. I'm looking forward to going again.

Went with friends... it's nice but it feels a bit back in time. Food was good, a little expensive. The table we were shown to felt a bit out in the open... and my back was to a gas fire... got rather hot and uncomfortable. All in all though, it was decent.

Shockingly bad experience last night, especially after my numerous visits to Mancy’s restaurants. We asked for a wine list which took over 10 minutes to receive. I was disappointed in the lack of European wines but found an Italian on the last bottle list. It was $150 but I was desperate. Unfortunately, our server didn’t come back for 15 min to take our order and then when she finally delivered it, she broke the cork because she didn’t screw down far enough. Alcohol is a big money maker yet we sat for 40 minutes before it was poured. The food was the main problem. Not only a super slow kitchen but it was then served refrigerator cold. Everything. Fish, steak, green beans, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, even the plate was frigid. So we sent it back and instead of preparing a new plate, they tried to just warm it and brought it back cold..again. This was a $75 plate of food. At this point, we were concerned about food safety and said to just forget it. Luckily we had bread with our wine but they never offered anything else other than not charging us for the food which we didn’t even touch. This was two hours after our arrival so went home hungry after paying for the wine. To top it off, there was a loud, raging fight in the bar area that we heard across the restaurant so we waited until they had left, concerned about a physical altercation. As a person whom has lived in Columbus, favored fine dinning, then proceeded to Tampa, this business should be sued for calling it fine dining. I had Thee worst experience, and most are with in the kitchen, and how they operate ethically. Last I checked it was 2025, didnt realize we were still pairing the nationality of the server with the guests. Despicable! First, sink water with melted ice awaited us after waiting 15 minutes for a table when having a reservation, made two days prior. Halibut was raw, tuna poke had slime on it and a brown sliver of avocado, yes 1! Drinks were made by a kindergartner. Had to ask for bread, wine menu was not presented, amidst when I booked I requested a bottle of Caymus. The waiter handed me my plate instead of serving me. A manager/ maitres d', did not come and check on our service. We waited 18 minutes for our non top shelf drinks. The cheescake was vividly days old, I can continue. DO NOT EAT HERE. The crab cake appetizer was great! The service was fantastic! My sea bass...not so much. I asked for simply grilled because if I'm paying for fish I want to taste the fish. It was mediocre at best and tasted frozen. I can make fish at home that is substantially better and cheaper! I should have sucked it up and cooked even though it was our anniversary! My husband's steak was good and cooked correctly. We have been here several times and the food has always been spectacular...I don't know what happened. Maybe it was an off day.

We thought a nice dinner before heading to the Stranahan for date night. We made reservations 1 1/2 hours before the show. Unfortunately, we waited 35 minutes to even get drinks. First, they forgot that they seated us on the patio so I went in to ask about server. Then we ordered drinks which took another 20 minutes. Mind you - a glass of wine and a martini. Nervous that we would miss the show, we didn’t order dinner. Terrible and they weren’t busy on a Sunday night. Very disappointing!
