The crab cake appetizer was great! The service was fantastic! My sea bass...not so much. I asked for simply grilled because if I'm paying for fish I want to taste the fish. It was mediocre at best and tasted frozen. I can make fish at home that is substantially better and cheaper! I should have sucked it up and cooked even though it was our anniversary! My husband's steak was good and cooked correctly. We have been here several times and the food has always been spectacular...I don't know what happened. Maybe it was an off day.

We thought a nice dinner before heading to the Stranahan for date night. We made reservations 1 1/2 hours before the show. Unfortunately, we waited 35 minutes to even get drinks. First, they forgot that they seated us on the patio so I went in to ask about server. Then we ordered drinks which took another 20 minutes. Mind you - a glass of wine and a martini. Nervous that we would miss the show, we didn’t order dinner. Terrible and they weren’t busy on a Sunday night. Very disappointing!

We had such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What truly made our visit special was our server, Alexis. She was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you!

Fish was way overcooked. $100 in entrees alone, told waitress, expected some compensation due to 75% of the plate not touched and given back. We will be taking a long long break from this place . Not happy.

I wish I had read some reviews before I selected BWG. We celebrated our anniversary there recently. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The wait staff was excellent. The food arrived in a timely manner. We had drinks appetizers and dessert. The bread was the best thing served. The crab cakes were good. The calamari was ok but who thought to serve it with hoisin sauce? The server said the diavolo was not spicy and it was. The Cajun pasta was not edible. After the shrimp were gone my husband gave up on it. The creamy coleslaw was bland. The flourless chocolate cake was ok. A small scoop of ice cream might have set it off. The entree menu was limited and it didn't say whether the Chilean bass was sustainably sourced so I skipped it. We were offered an off menu dish: shrimp and grits. I probably should have ordered that. For what we spent it just wasn't up to par. The hostess asked if we were celebrating anything so I dared to expect that there might be a free treat. Just a really disappointing experience.

We were disappointed in the quality of the dishes we ordered. I sent mine back to be warmed up and it came back just a tiny bit warmer. We will not return.

Although we have lived in Toledo for 11 years, this was our first visit to Mancy’s Bluewater Grille. We decided to dine there for our wedding anniversary. Our server was very friendly and engaging, although she was new. We both ordered seafood entrees. I had salmon and my husband ordered the Chilean sea bass prepared with a barbecue type sauce. Both were good and prepared perfectly and portions were nice. The atmosphere was not as elegant as we expected. One of the managers (who had introduced herself) was at the bar with some customers, which is not a bad thing but she acted as though she was not working. The napkins were not cloth as mentioned in other reviews. Additionally nothing special was noted for our anniversary. Many restaurants specifically celebrate birthdays, anniversary’s etc.
