Panera is one of my “Go -To’s”, a standard for many other places, a role model for their niche market. I am a charter member if the Sip-Club, and highly recommend it.
Like many chains, there are differences, sometimes subtle and sometimes blatant, between specific locations. My favorite Panera location is in Perrysburg, the other side of the Maumee River from this location. This Maumee location is open, airy, and welcoming… yet colder, less clean and tidy, and slower than Perrysburg and a few others.
We frequently go into places, already familiar, with the place and menu, and even knowing what we’re planning to order… but we still like to ask for recommendations. The girl at the counter cringed a bit while saying, “I really don’t like our sandwiches, but I’m not much of a sandwich girl.” I always appreciate honesty, but I was not expecting that.
Overall, a good visit. If this location had been my first impression of Panera, I’d be pleased, and also pleased to return.

Fast and efficient service! The employee had a very cheerful demeanor. There was also someone in the dining halls cleaning up, so everything looked clean during my visit ?

Rated atmosphere 3 stars because I always use the drivethru. Never have been inside.
First time being at this location and was impressed. For three of us, we spent about $60. No complaints on food or service. Clean. Ordered for dine in on the app and was ready when we walked in. If I didn’t hear my last name being called as we walked in, I wouldn’t have known it was my order because there was no receipt with it. Though the employees were happy to confirm it was my order - it was dinner time, so I didn’t want to take someone’s order. My mom asked for a water cup and they provided it no problem. They emptied the trash and plates frequently, and wiped tables and booths/chairs down.

I ordered a sandwich that I thought was warm (pregnant , no cold deli meat per md). It turned out to be a cold sandwich. The worker had no problem heating it for me.

I stopped at Panera on dussel drive twice in one week, and both times, they had hardly any fresh baked goods. I was able to get the sour dough bread bowls, which I had them slice to take home for sandwiches.
I've been very disappointed with the lack of product on hand.

Poor customer service. My online order was late, when asked how much longer would I have to wait, I was ignored by the you man working that section this morning. An elderly lady walked away from me while I was explaining the situation. I was late for work ??
