Visited for the first time , love this location, lots of flavors and options to pick from they had strawberry and different flavor soft serve which is uncommon! Never seen any soft serve flavors besides vanilla and twist , friendly employees and very fast , will return !

Penguin Palace is our favorite summer time soft serve ice cream place. It sits along scenic River Road in Maumee and is kept attractive and clean on its exterior, where there are several large tables with umbrellas for guests to enjoy their treat. My favorite aspect of this place is that the soft serve vanilla ice cream has a quality taste and texture. We've probably all experienced a place where the vanilla soft serve just tasted off, like maybe it was a poor quality ice cream mix they were using. Not so at Penguin Palace. My second favorite aspect is that it is staffed by friendly, hard working teenagers who have been well trained to provide quality customer service 100 percent of the time. Those two things will always keep me and my husband coming back.

Pricing is super high! Small blizzard is $8 😳 wasn't expecting to pay $24 for three people, so we canceled one of our ice creams
Okay 10/10 place. I asked if I could get a bigger version of the dog sundae with some peanut butter because my girl Juno LOVES her ice cream. The girl was very sweet and kind and understood the assignment, she told me about her dog as well! Wonderful customer service and I have one happy girl! Thanks so much again ❤️

We have been residents in Maumee for little over a year now. Growing up in the Midwest, we had a favorite icecream spot that we haven't found anything close to. THIS has made top 2 of our fav spots! Always kind, clean & no matter if the line wraps around the building, they're on it & make sure everyone gets served!
