It was a rocky experience. I believe the owners were running the restaurant and they did not seem to know how to make most menu items. We were the only customers waiting for food and it took about 20 minutes. The Italian sub was pretty poor. Dry hard bread, barely any toppings and missing multiple toppings. The flatbread was also below average. The chicken pot pie soup was good. For about $17 for half a sandwich, cup of soup, and a drink there are better options. I doubt I'll be back.

Overpriced Panera. A kids meal and adult "you pick 2" was over $20.

Zoup used to be really good, but every so slowly portion sizes on the sandwiches has been decreasing. I tried to upload a photo of my "extra bacon," but of course there's some error with google. Suffice to say my extra bacon was less than a single strip of bacon's worth of literal bacon strips. Not even real bacon. Zoup has gone downhill at a terrifying pace.

We were traveling through the area with a large group. We stopped and placed a single order of food for 9 people. The staff was very professional and accommodating, and the food was great. We'll definitely stop here again the next time we're traveling through the area.

Nightmare lunch; 14 ? Kid couldn’t understand order. Kid kept wiping his nose and then tried to fill soup containers. Ugh-told him to don gloves before filling the soup cups. Floor so sticky couldn’t lift my foot; no paper towels or toilet tissue in bathrooms. Waited over 30 mins for salad from the fridge, a small tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich! 2 older gents helping with no established routines. One speaks no English, the other so ADHD that he left in the middle of a full in-coming crowd (all waiting to place an order) to refill 6 cookies by the cash register and then again to grab some take-out bags (there were many on the shelf)… all the while orders being mixed up and customers waiting to order. Ha! What a nightmare! Dirty, tasteless soup and probably health code violations abound.

The owner of this place works it himself and has few to no employees, he’s slower than molasses and orders take forever to get out, he also has a child family member working which is against the law, he screamed at the kid the other day for putting a regular Pepsi on the counter instead of diet. This place is a black hole if you do doordash you will wait forever, also doesn’t abide by posted hours, opens late and closes early regularly, if you want this restaurant and are in Toledo go to the one at Sylvania and Talmadge

My husband and I visited this Zoup earlier today. I had the Fiesta Chicken salad. It used to be served with bread. I received no bread. My husband had the Turkey Bacon sandwich. It was completely dry. No mayonnaise at all. His root beer was almost tasteless. He called it “atrocious”. Sadly, we will not be returning for a repeat experience. It used to be so good…..but no longer is.

This is the second time I’ve gotten a wrong order, or not received part of my order from Zoup! and have had multiple unsuccessful attempts at getting a refund. I’ve reached out through phone, and email and do not get a response or a refund.. I see the response from The Owner below stating to email or call, but I have reached out multiple times since this comment; through phone and email, still with no response.

A different manager took over and it is going downhill. The new manager is not friendly at all. They do not give you complete portions of soup anymore. It is usually filled up 2/3 of the way. There use to be people in here all the time in the winter especially, but when we go now no one is here. The prices have gone up, while the food quality and customer service has declined. Another problem is that the hours are irregular. They will often be closed even though the hours on the door say they are open.
