I went to the Bob Evans location at the Golden Gate Plaza today. We were greeted by the clerk and seated with menus. We sat for 20 minutes and no one came to the table to service us. This was one of my favorite locations. We were very disappointed.

I had steak tip omelet. The worst food I have had. There were 4 pieces of gray chewy steak. A lot of barely cooked mushrooms and peppers. Barely any cheddar. Both omelets luke warm. Salsa not only on top, but in my fruit salad. $13.99 and I barely ate. Took a few minutes to get seated, because Waitress was very nice.

Went here to have a quick omelet and could barely finish it. It was the steak omelet and the steak pieces were large and very chewy, not much veggies and no sour cream on the side which may have helped with how dry it was due to over cooking it. The “home fries” were very hard and flavor less. We ended up throwing them out and just eating the dry toast that had PLENTY of butter on them. This was a carry out so maybe dining in would be better 🤷♀️. $30 bucks down the drain, very disappointed.
Food is fine.so happy the bathroom is at the door for convenience

Michelle is a breath of fresh air. She was the only server when I arrived and handled myself and the steady stream of customers that flowed in after me with grace and ease. Michelle was happy and pleasant and absolutely wonderful. Her attitude made me feel so good and it's clear that's how she makes everyone feel. Many of the customers were familiar with her and it's obvious that she leaves a positive impression on the people she serves. 10/10 would recommend for the phenomenal service.
