I've gone here once the food was salty. No big deal next time I go back I'll just tell them go a little easy on the seasoning. Well, tried to go back twice. They open and close when they want to. Internet says they close at 8, my family and I went yesterday because of my daughters birthday and they were closed at 7. Went another time during the day and they werent open at all. Bad unprofessional business. Not to mention the phone number is no good.

I was a bit disappointed and dissatisfied. I got the shrimp.... Good flavor... WAAAAAY to salty! I peeled off ALL of the breading, and it was STILL salty!

Great food and love the custom sauces.

The first 5 time I went, the food was great. Yesterday was a complete turn off. I loved the greens they were so good. I would always get them as a side with my bowl. Tonight the greens tasted burned and were to salty to eat.

My cousin has been asking about seafood boils for a minute. We finally gave this place a try and it was a let down. She got the 1/2 pound of shrimp and 1/2 pound of crab legs. They were very stingy with the shrimp and the crab legs barely had meat. The sauce was good but there was an overwhelming amount of potatoes. For $30 I just expected differently. My other cousin and I got a fish and shrimp dinner and the fish was good but the hush puppies were literally the size of a 25 cent bouncy ball and the macaroni was nasty! The fried cabbage was good but very mushy! Room for improvement!

This place is over priced and the food was not that good! I’ve had much better! My last post was deleted because they probably didn’t like what I wrote. Let’s see how long this one will last. Will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone I know! I’m a total foodie and come from a family that currently owns 3 successful restaurants here in Cleveland. I also went to Culinary School in Boston as my major in College. So I’m not just a person that eats out, I’m a person with a lot of food experience and knowledge under my belt.

The customer service was beyond amazing however I’m not a fan of the food. My shrimp boil bag was filled with salt and had no flavor. Also I ordered the melt which was messing things because they ran out. My boyfriend said it was terrible. I’m really sad because I was super exited for this place.

I have gone to Chipper's multiple times and each time I have tried a new dish, they have all been AMAZING!!!!! The fish polish boy is my favorite! I love their sauce, they give great portions and the fries are seasoned so well! The owner is so nice and personable and the entire staff is pleasant and attentive. I will continue to go to this restaurant! I live in the area and it is nice to have a black owned-business here!

My husband & I just went there for the Sunday “All you can eat” not a “Buffet”. The dining area was dirty, choir rehearsal in the middle of it, and we had to ask for our table to be cleaned off. When ordering our food, the first thing we were greeted with was how they got slammed today for the All you can eat. Not my problem, I do not work there!!! The “Buffet” was still $20 a piece so why do I care that business was booming for you today?! Maybe that was just to excuse the fact that the food was about to be horrible, IDK... Mac N Cheese-Cold, No Flavor, etc., Greens-No Flavor, Catfish-Good, Fried Chicken-Over seasoned, Smoked Chicken-Good & Cold, Spaghetti-Cold & Terrible(Whole bag of sugar in it), Turkey Chops-Freshly Cooked & No seasoning at all). Never again, We got cheated out our money!!! The one Star is really just because the man was nice, food negative 5 Stars!!!

I love the Catfish & Shrimp but My new favorite is the fried bourbon chicken bowl it’s amazing

I just started working in the area and tried this place today. I'm definitely going back! The only downside was that the wait was a bit longer than I expected, but it was worth it.

The crab legs were amazing and the staff was super friendly. Definitely plan on making another visit soon to try the rest of their menu. Highly recommend!

Stopped by with a couple of my realtor friends for lunch & had his most popular meal which is the catfish, with the famous sweet Jesus sauce!
