I've gone here once the food was salty. No big deal next time I go back I'll just tell them go a little easy on the seasoning. Well, tried to go back twice. They open and close when they want to. Internet says they close at 8, my family and I went yesterday because of my daughters birthday and they were closed at 7. Went another time during the day and they werent open at all. Bad unprofessional business. Not to mention the phone number is no good.
My cousin has been asking about seafood boils for a minute. We finally gave this place a try and it was a let down. She got the 1/2 pound of shrimp and 1/2 pound of crab legs. They were very stingy with the shrimp and the crab legs barely had meat. The sauce was good but there was an overwhelming amount of potatoes. For $30 I just expected differently. My other cousin and I got a fish and shrimp dinner and the fish was good but the hush puppies were literally the size of a 25...
I have gone to Chipper's multiple times and each time I have tried a new dish, they have all been AMAZING!!!!! The fish polish boy is my favorite! I love their sauce, they give great portions and the fries are seasoned so well! The owner is so nice and personable and the entire staff is pleasant and attentive. I will continue to go to this restaurant! I live in the area and it is nice to have a black owned-business here!
