The no refunds stickers on the menus should have been a clue. I’ve actually never been dining in a restaurant WHILE it was going bankrupt but the food, service, no heat, substitutions…just sad…this place use to be great.

The sauce was trifling 😭 go to juicy seafood! The prices are cheap here but the food is cheaper. The server was not attentive and in a rush. I wouldn’t recommend, the sauce is what got me complaining it taste old I don’t even know but this stuff is nasty.

We were there today as well. I went to go make a review when I saw one with same exact complaints as ours from today. No music until the table over from us played the jukebox. Then the restaurant has the nerve to reply and ask if the people made a reservation in response to saying how understaffed the place was. A reservation....in the middle of YOUR EMPTY "happy hour" but an empty restaurant? Cmon, its undeestaffed cause theres no business from the poor quality. The wait was forever, in an empty restaurant. The food was overcooked, in an empty restaurant. Put Fridays back or go to Juicy down the street.

Went for daughters bday today. Severely understaffed. The only gentleman handling everything was in a boot. Very nice but clearly needed help. Waited at least 20 minutes to get seated. There was only 2 other groups of people in the restaurant. Once seated another 20 minutes to even be asked what we wanted for drinks. Several empty tables still covered in food our entire time there. Crab and shrimp were like rubber and overcooked and extremely salty. Then to top it off had to use my own money to play touch tunes cause it was so quiet. My daughter was not happy.

I dined in at Crafty Crab with a friend on 1/23/25, both of us had food poisoning within a few hours of leaving. I understand minimizing food waste and saving time but serving customers old seafood can make people EXTREMELY sick.

My son arrived at 7:30 pm and was seated at 7:50 pm, it took 20 minutes for his waiter to come take their order, and fast forward to 9:00 pm my son still had not received his or his date's food (even after being told that the kitchen was on a 45 minute delay). I know that it was Valentine's Day, and it would be busy, but when they arrived, it wasn't busy! My son kept inquiring about their order, but the waiter kept blowing them off since they were teenagers. My husband and I were seated at the bar (we even ordered food and drinks, and our food arrived in a timely manner). We took notice of our son's frustration, and we intervened!! The waiter (Cruz) FORGOT to place my teenage son and his dates order, and was trying to make all types of excuses that I wasn't trying to hear! The owner was initially only offering a free salad, soup, or dessert for my son's table, but ultimately ended up taking money off his bill. Although the owner tried to make the situation better, I feel like something more could have been done. DON'T waste your time and find somewhere else to go, especially since STAFFING ISSUES are a problem! This was our son's first time out on a date, and it was nothing short of a disaster! Seafood boil restaurants are basically everywhere these days, so finding a better establishment will not be hard to find.
The owner stated that I failed to mention $74 in compensated free food?? She gave them $31.05 off the bill in addition to a free chicken salad ($8.99) and free cheesecake ($4.99), which totals $45.03. I'm curious about the other $28.97 I allegedly received. I have all the facts, and while I was patiently waiting for you to come speak with us about the issue, my husband made his own choice to speak with you himself. If in person dining and online orders cause you this much strain, then maybe you should consider in the future in person dining by reservation only, so you are possibly able to appropriately accommodate people.
I was never asking for me to get a discount of any kind. I paid for what I received. You're spreading a lie about what you compensated. I'm letting people know the service at your establishment is substandard!

We arrived at 8:04 wasn’t serviced by our waiter until 8:34 and he just happened to be walking by and seen his name on our table so I’m assuming he didn’t even know we were his table. So that’s miscommunication from the front I’m assuming I don’t know. Then we place our order food was brought at 9:18. Our waiter “Cruz” leaned to give me my food and he smelled like he had been drinking all day. Drinking and smoking he smelled absolutely horrible and this is me being 100% honest. I asked him for a refill on water. And that took another 10 minutes by the time he brought it I was just ready for the check. I could have complained and got money off but I’m more of the type to just not come back. The food was good. It was hot. The atmosphere was ok. There were tables around me who also seem to have been waiting for a long time also. Definitely won’t be back. Will stick to Juicy red crab on the west side……. A response to the manager to just responded to my post. That just goes to show you it wasn’t just me who felt this way about your establishment and the waiter I never spoke to anyone I was with 2 children I never had a large party smh. Again I stated I could have complained but i didn’t I just got the kids and left. But thank you for responding and for accommodating the other party that had nothing to do with me.

I arrived with my husband and 4 kids, I read the sign party of 6 18% gratuity. I was fine with that for good service. Not it took 20min to get a drink and there was only 1 more customer and she had already dined. The Drink was bad, I ordered a catfish and shrimp dinner and the shrimp was over cooked and greasy and the 2 pieces of catfish was the length of my index finger and the whole meal fit into a small basket. My waiter screamed once from the corner are yall straight and that was my 20% gratuity got me. Oh yes i said 20 because it was increased I guess during the meal. When i questioned the cashier about the 20% he said i dont know why he would do that. I paid and left. They managed to mess up a nice place. Oh i forgot my kids had to listen to rap with all the cussing included.

I am a frequent customer, as well as I bring friends and family with me quite often. We Tend to come during the afternoon on the weekends; minimum twice a month. Went in on Sunday November 3rd, to enjoy some food, drinks and watch the game. Every time I come, I always sit at the bar facing the door, with no issue. This particular day, Corey tells me I can not sit in a certain area at the bar because it is for employees only. I explained to him I always sit in that area of the bar & that he has taken care of me in that section of the bar. He kept insisting it’s for employees only. I will no longer be a regular customer.

So I called to place an order was left o HOLD 4 times only for the people to get on the phone and tel me I can not place a phone order because I never ordered from th before !
Then the manager gets on the phone and confirms the nonsense that since I have never placed a phone order they can't take my order over the phone !!! This is horrible and I'm heard of Needless to say !! THANK GOD for JUICYs seafood and I will NEVER ever attempt to place another order and SPEND my heard earned money at this place !! ?
