The Tavern of Mayfield

I went in last night for dinner. I ordered 10 mild wings and an order of potato skins. I’ve been there MANY times for dinner and by far this was the WORST experience ever! Let’s start with the Bartender, some lady Maggie or something like that. I’m sitting at one of the small round table by the wall with my Apple air pods on listening to my music playing on my phone waiting for my food to come when she comes running over to me and starts yelling, you can’t VAPE in here. For one I don’t vape or smoke. I had my Apple air pod case sitting on the table next to my phone which looks nothing like a vape pen. Second, the wings were under cooked and I was only able to eat about half. Thirdly, with the skins, I’ve never been to a place that serve 3 small potato skins and charges $10 for them. Almost $3.50 per skin? If that’s not a ripoff, I don’t know what is? I sent them back. The bartender said i should’ve asked how many were on the plate, well, they should say how many on the menu so the customer knows in advance. Every other place I’ve ever been to, they at least give you 5 and bigger than here! DO NOT ORDER POTATO SKINS FROM HERE! It’s a ripoff!!!!! Other then that, generally the food is really good here, especially the burgers!!!

My food was cold, unseasoned and i waited FOREVER for a drink while others who came in after me received theirs!! I was a horrible experience i will never spend my money there again. I received broken up onion rings.

Went to an open restaurant for them to tell me they are closed? Seemed only a certain caucasian demographic was being seated. They must not like money ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

Rude lady bartender who said she was the owner informed me that they did not allow big dogs on the patio. After I told her it was a service dog she asked me for his vest, in this day and age you would think the owner of a bar would know the requirements for a service dog. I ended up showing her his badge, the rudeness continued. I would advise anybody who is a dog lover not to patronize this place as ignorance seems to have a place here.
