Smokin Q's BBQ and Beer House

We decided to try this place as an early birthday dinner. The amount of food we got for the price was amazing, everything we had tasted fantastic and the service was great. The server was very attentive and the inside of the restaurant was adorable! We have been looking for good BBQ around us since moving to the area so we will be back and I will definitely be recommending this place to people!

Pretty good BBQ. I'm from St. Louis, so I have pretty high standards when it comes to BBQ. I got the burnt ends and pulled pork, which were both very good. The only negative I would say about the meats is there was a good amount of fat on both of them. In terms of sides, I got the cornbread, which was absolutely delicious. Looking forward to coming back when I'm in town.

I'm so disappointed in my service and I haven't even gotten our food. The server did not know the specials when asked. After asking her what the specials were she said sold out on t bone after 40 minutes of placing our order she comes to say the beef ribs were also sold out. I feel a server should know the specials and what's available

Excellent meats, bad service,the slaw that comes with meal is plain cabbage nothing on it. The horseradish sauce on the brussel sprouts was overwhelming, hated it. Waitress said everybody loves it but, refused to replace it. Served a burnt peach cobbler and charged me for it. Asked to speak to the manager, she said she was too busy. Again the meats were good, service bad. No quiet place to sit and enjoy your food.

We love this place, the BBQ is outstanding and the service great too. Nice bar, good parking, great staff. Try the pulled pork and smoked turkey combo platter, spicy vinegar sauce with pickled onions, jalapeno and coleslaw - incredible.

Kid-friendliness: The server provided crayons and a coloring book, which kept the kiddos busy

Wonder 4 meat combo, BBQ wings, and a nice salad. The Key Lime pie was awesome, and so was the German chocolate cake.

Excellent food. We loved the meats of course-I recommend the burnt end brisket, pulled pork. The crispy broccoli was outstanding -crisp as advertised with lots of garlic! I got the Texas Cheesesteak Tacos-very good homemade tortillas. Took German chocolate cake home. We were told all the sauces and desserts are made in house. Cute place. We will be back when it’s not raining so we can enjoy the patio with the built in fireplace.

Today was our first time trying this place and we all enjoyed our meals at Smokin Qs! All of our entrees were delicious. The service was very attentive and the interior was adorable. We started out trying to sit on the patio but had to move inside due to an aggressive bee ?. Haha The patio is very nice though!Here is the run down of what we had:Me: BBQ chicken quesadilla off of the appetizer menu as my meal minus the onions and pickles. It was DELICIOUS! I also had the brisket poutine. I enjoyed this as well but my eyes were bigger than my stomach.My husband: Chef Z’s Fat Burger, 2 skinny patties, BBQ pulled pork, Shiner braised onions, American, mustard aioli, slaw, house pickles. His burger looked amazing and he said it was the best burger he has gotten in a long time. As his side, he had gotten the Fried Corn ( Cotija, chipotle, cilantro). This was good in terms of flavor because it is similar to elote but was not warm.Stepson #1: had the pulled pork sandwich and ate the whole thing! He is our picky eater so this was fantastic! He had fries as his side.Stepson #2: Had the combo platter with brisket and pulled pork and Mac n cheese as his side. He ate all of his food.We also got the following sides to share:Baked Bean (cassoulet) - this was the biggest miss of the entire meal in my opinion. It had a strange flavor to it that I can’t put my finger on.Mac n cheese - this was just a meh for us. It was somewhat bland.Cornbread- absolutely delicious! Almost tasted like it had lemon or something in it.We also got desserts. Three brownies and the German chocolate cake. Next time we will likely pass on the desserts just because we were wayyyyy too full at the end of this meal.We will definitely be back to try more menu items! Thank you, Smokin Qs!

Tried this place on a whim bc I had to be in Mayfield and I had this saved in places to go. It’s so good! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was comforting and the people were nice. I definitely want to come back again and try more of the menu.

Food is very economical, most importantly is some of the best food around. Better than Cafe de Rio if your familiar with that. Highly recommend.Great outside little porch

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who lives in the area. It was the perfect restaurant to meet up at and catch up! The brisket is to die for and the corn bread is heavenly! My son loved the pulled pork. This is a great restaurant; I highly recommend it!

Parking: The parking lot is a little small.

The best tacos we’ve ever had! Each unique one a winner! We’ll be talking about this place a long time!

Fried corn was super good, fries were excellent! Brisket, Turkey and sausage were great which they get local apparently. Kevin was awesome, super helpful and very accommodating to another group who needed some tables pushed together. Definitely bringing friends back.

Being in the BBQ heaven!! This stuff is just gorgeous! ??Beef Brisket, Pulled Chicken, Ribs, Jalapeno Sausage, Cornbread, Cauliflower Wings ….

Vegetarian options: Cauliflower Wings are amazing and my daughter loved them
