Lake Hope Lodge Reviews
Went for the Thanksgiving Buffet, with tax and drink paid approximately $53.00, only to be told they "ran out of sweet potatoes". I am sorry, but this is unacceptable. Sweet potatoes are an integrate part of any traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. All reservations were made in advance, you should be more prepared. If you cannot offer your guest what is on the menu, then at least offer a discount on the meal. Please do better next year and be prepared.
Server was great, no pizza, no alcohol, no prime rib, bread was terrible, no Swiss cheese, and vegetables tasteless.
But server was great!
My family went this weekend to celebrate our yearly birthday celebrations. The food was awesome. The interior was awesome. The best part of our experience was the service! Great experience, highly appreciated and highly recommend!
Menu
Lake Hope Lodge offers a delightful dining experience with a stunning view of the surrounding hollow. The main dining hall features high ceilings and lovely wooden beams, and outdoor seating is available during warmer months. The menu boasts delicious options, including loaded potato skins, ribeye, and the Pride of the Pitt, which features three meats cooked to perfection. Recent guests have enjoyed pulled pork nachos, noting the tender and moist pork paired with hardy, crispy chips topped with cheese and chopped tomatoes. Other popular dishes include the chili, cheese burger, smoked turkey sandwich, and brisket sandwich, all praised for their excellent flavor. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food and service. While some have found the buffet can be loud and pricey, the beautiful setting and delicious food make it a great choice for special occasions or a stop after hiking. Overall, Lake Hope Lodge provides a wonderful experience with great food, generous portions, and an attentive wait staff.
