Absolutely incredible thin crust pizza. Definitely recommend the pepperoni over the cheese. Will be my go-to every time I'm in the area.

We stopped at Mama Renies after a long day of hiking at Moonville and it was great. Had two kids with us, wasn't at all a problem. The pizza was awesome, really enjoyed the buffalo chicken. Prices are very reasonable. All in all a really excellent little pizza and tavern right in the heart of McArthur.

Wonderful diner in the village of MacArthur. I'm not sure how long it's been here, but you can tell that it has a very deep local heritage in sports. The Grand champion Burger was really really good, as were the onion rings and fries.

If you are interested to learn about the people living in or around McArthur, ohio, this is the place to do just that.
This is a sports themed bar with a dining area in the back, which I would STRONGLY suggest you choose to have your meal, as the bar area can get a bit ... um... "lively" at times.
Two customers chose to have a political discussion as if they were in a noisy factory and not a small-ish room where a near whisper can be heard.
A third customer stood up and, in a rather profane manner, shut down the political argument with promises of pain.
I was forced to engage in conversation with a drunk who was VERY high on an unknown substance. Luckily he left and I could finish in peace.
And that's just the atmosphere.
I ordered their "chopped sirloin" with baked potato. The potato was Wonderful and thoroughly cooked. If you've ever had an undercooked baked potato you know how important this is.
The chopped sirloin was a different story. It tasted like something Doris the lunch lady would serve in school, with a sponge like consistency and a flavor that did NOT remind me of steak.
I could Not finish and even felt a bit nauseous after.
Although "Mama Renie's" is not advertised to be a Dinner Theater, they succeeded in providing unexpected entertainment that was both suspenseful and intriguing as well as an unusual meal that was filling, although lacking in enjoyment.
As previously stated, one can learn a great amount about McArthur in a short span of time.
Enjoy.

It is a nice local sports oriented place to eat. The food was ok. Definitely came out hot and fresh. It wasn't wheelchair friendly when we arrived as all doors were locked except for one that had stairs to the entry door.
