Today, I ordered a Cheeseburger and fries. My party of 4 got there at noon, when they opened the doors. Another person with me ordered the burger of the day. Our food all came out together. Her burger looked freshly made. Mine was dry and old looking with bacon that I did not order and with old brown lettuce and old dry red onions. It looked like it was left over from yesterday. My waiter said I did not have to eat it and they would "just give it to someone else". I said I wanted to dine with the rest of my party and did not want to wait for them to cook mine while I watched my friends eat. He did not charge me for the bacon. I took half home and my family member told me to throw it out; it looked like old food. The fries were fresh.

Food is not that great, plain and simple. If you get a burger or any other main that comes with fries, BEWARE. Fries are OVERLOADED with salt and rosemary, and incredibly greasy (You literally need napkins to squeeze the grease out!). Kitchen staff not great with following instructions either, asked for a topping to be removed, it comes out on it, so I send it back and it comes out 3 minutes later, a dish that minimally takes 15 minutes to make. When confronting the server, they admitted the staff just picked it off. Thankfully no allergy scare, but BEWARE if your food comes with something you are allergic to on it, they will not default to making it new unless you ask them! Only thing going for them is the rustic atmosphere.

This restaurant is very cute and has a great atmosphere. It is right on the square in Medina. The service was slow, especially considering. There were only 2 other tables seated. It seemed to take awhile to get our food. The Honey Mustard chicken sandwich was very good tasting. The chicken was tender and juicy. The tomato, lettuce and onion were chopped up way too small, which caused it all to keep falling off the sandwich. This made the sandwich very messy. The snitzel was a bit dry and the Mac and cheese was ok. It seems like more of a burger joint. The server was friendly and polite and he did come to check on us a few times during the meal. Then we waited for our check for an uncomfortably long amount of time.

Buyer beware. ordered 2 double Don Julio silver mixed drinks doubles with cranberry and a salad. food was great and always has been. service from bartender was slow as she was more concerned with clearing plates at 8 pm than seeing to her customers. Bill came for $73 drinks charged for 2 was $61??? for a bottle that costs wholesale around $50. won't ever order another drink here without first asking if it is WAY overpriced. former restaurant owner and liquor/wine sales supervisor by the way!

I have a hard time judging my first visit because there were some great things about it. The beer and drink list was great. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing. I switched out a vegetarian burger on the goat cheese burger and loved it. The fries were okay, a little on the soft side but very flavorful.
The problem was the restaurant was clearly understaffed. There were only 2 servers and one bartender. We were given a 15 minute wait time and it was closer to 30. After we sat we didn't get our drinks/water for almost 10 more minutes. I don't blame the servers because they were clearly running around and working very hard but this falls on management. Staff your restaurant appropriately, because it's a bad look on them and affects their money if other patrons don't recognize what is happening.

Parking: Free street parking but the streets can be a little confusing if you're not familiar with the area because there are a lot of one-way streets.
