17 Public Square, Medina
I would have to say this place is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is amazing, service is excellent and has a great atmosphere. I've even called in for a pick up and was impressed! If you haven't tried this place it a must try restaurant on the square!!
The food and service is usually good. I ordered the burger for the first time and it seemed dry and definitely not medium rare as requested. I'm not sure what kind of beef it was but I wasn't impressed. Everything else I've ever ordered has always been good, especially the chicken
Located on the west side of the square in the heart of downtown Medina is this little gem - the food is fantastic (tastes great, plus good value for the price, i.e. leftovers!), the atmosphere is cool, and the service staff are very friendly, as is the manager! We both had the chef special hand held (should be ' hands held", requires two hands unless you are Shaq-sized! Haha) with crispy chicken - tender, juicy, and tasty!I was surprised by how flavorful their french fries are and the mac-n-cheese also has great flavor. Worth a trip to Medina if you don't live in these parts ??Parking: There are two parking garages within a short walking distance and also street parking around the square, all free to the public

Another win for the City of Medina is the restaurant 17 Public Square. The atmosphere is cozy and casual. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is amazing. Lots of great options for a quick bite to a full meal. Our party tried everything from the pork schnitzel to the THICK gourmet burgers, and everyone loved what they ordered. Plus the seasonal cocktails were a hit with our group. This definitely one to visit again and again when we're in town.

Surprised still in business. The service was below subpar. The food took extremely long to come, and when it did they used dirty oil. While there were plenty of seats open on the front half of the restaurant they sat colored skin people towards the back. Will never return and this is a restaurant that I do not recommend. There are so many other great places to try in Medina!
Really wanted to love this place, heard so many good things, but it was pretty average. My wife and I went there for lunch and the menu was pretty standard. I had the chicken gyro, and my wife had a salad with grilled chicken. They were both good, but nothing new. Unfortunately, I feel it's surrounded by better options.
I went here on Halloween night. At 7pm there were only two waitresses handling about 20 tables and there was only one cook too. They were running around and thanking people for their patience. One customer stood up and asked us all to tip them well and clap for them which we did. I just wanted to write here as well and thank them for doing their job so well while short staffed. The food was delicious and they got everything right under pressure! Great job!!
My girlfriend and I stopped here tonight before going to a haunted house. Neither of us had been here before. Everything about our experience was spectacular.-Staff was accommodating and helpful. -Service was fast and on point.-Food was hot and absolutely delicious.I cannot recommend this place enough after tonight. Thank you to everyone we had the pleasure of dealing with tonight.
This place is great! Highly recommend any chicken sandwich! Burgers are good but can be inconsistent. The schnitzel is very good too! Nice open atmosphere and good cocktails!

Extremely cold in the restaurant. Service was wonderful. We had a table of 8 and it went very smoothly. One meal sent back overdone and replaced with another meal. Totally surprised when the entire meal was compted. We were celebrating two birthdays, and it looked like the manager was getting on the servers about getting us out of there, and we were getting hard looks from her. We noticed a line was starting, but there was a lower level to this place. We decided to leave. We enjoyed our time and the servers really made the difference! Everyone enjoyed their food and the event.

This used to be a great go to place in Medina. No more. Gone are the booths that were conducive to relaxation, replaced by jittery high stools conducive to leg cramps instead. The floor is highly waxed, giving the feeling of being on ice as table and chairs slide effortlessly around if you shift your position. We ordered drinks and appetizers initially. Apps were pretty good, drinks felt more like mocktails. At $10 our maple old fashioneds had zero hint of bourbon, just very sweet. If you order fries, be prepared- they are heavily salted and the rosemary is overwhelming. Yuck. Burgers were ok, nothing special. All in all, an expensive disappointment.Server was nice and relatively efficient, even if he never asked if we wanted a second drink. I'm guessing few do...
This is the hidden gem of Medina. We've been here a handful of times now and the food has been consistently solid. I wish they had a better draft selection, but it still deserves a 5 star. Cheers ?

Very bad experience for 1st time there last Saturday. Went for our Anniversary. Ordered appetizer and entrees. Appetizer was mediocre . Tasted like frozen TGI Friday’s spinach dip. Our other food never came so we finally asked what was going on and he said kitchen backed up . We asked for takeout boxes. Should have said take off bill. Got takeout . Food sucked no better than bar food . My husband threw his away , huge waste of $50.
They have incredible food. The chef special handheld I had was pretty bomb! The goat cheese & bacon flatbread was especially delicious! The meatballs are really great! Prices are very reasonable. The staff was excellent . I will definitely come back.

17 Public Square hosted our rehearsal dinner. The evening exceeded our expectations! I can’t say enough about how great Susan was to work with as we planned. So helpful and accommodating. The evening of the event, Rebecca and Faith worked so hard to make certain every detail was taken care of and to our liking. The kitchen staff crushed it sending out 40 plates of incredibly timed consistently delicious food. Our gusts raved about the evening!! We highly recommend 17 Public Square for an event or a night out!!!
