We typically have breakfast there on Thursday mornings after a business meeting - and it's always a pleasant experience. Helpful and friendly wait staff, good home-cooked food (I assume it's home-cooked - it sure tastes home cooked!) and prices that fit my budget nicely. Oh - and they know how to make blueberry pancakes the RIGHT way - so there's that. ;)
Not horrible. Don't go expecting a good steak. I had the soup and salad bar which was good. The chicken and dumplings soup and wedding soup was delicious. The salad bar was sparse with only a few items to choose from. We brought a large group with a bunch of little kids and our server was friendly and didn't have any trouble with a large order. The negatives were my husband's steak, and my very watery hot cocoa, and the night was rainy and the roof was leaking!...
It's one of those cases of "Perfectly adequate." The food is tasty and not expensive. The restaurant is clean, service friendly and speedy. Don't come looking for anything fancy, but it is a real solid place to get a good lunch or breakfast.
