We are regulars at the Fairlawn location, but recently stopped in the Medina store for my favorite brisket. Equally pleased with the clean, friendly, and yummy smelling atmosphere. Was totally surprised to see Alex there, because we knew her from the Fairlawn store. She is always welcoming and very engaging. The brisket was delicious, as always, and we will definitely stop back in!

My husband and I catered city barbecue for our wedding reception this past weekend. The catering team arrived early to ensure plenty of time for set up. The food was absolutely amazing! The team also boxed up to go meals for my husband and I to eat after the reception. The communication with City Barbecue was amazing and staff extremely friendly. Would recommend!

I’ve been to many city barbecue locations across Ohio. This one is the poorest representation of the chain I’ve ever been to.
I ordered the mother load to share with my sister and take home the rest. We were told that meats couldn’t be substituted for another meat (never an issue at any other location), never got the Texas toast that comes with the bundle, no lids available for the side containers, no paper liners in the boxes like other locations have, and it was very cold in the restaurant.
I love city bbq but I will not be back to this one.

The pulled pork was very salty and the pulled chicken had dried pieces and did not taste fresh but stale. Brisket sandwich tasted dry. The corn bread was very dry and over baked. It has been a year since we ate here and I was definitely was suprise on how the food has gone down. Will not be back, very disappointing.
