I don't like to be negative, but I was a disappointed with my last visit to City Barbeque Medina. The restaurant is very clean and the service is good. But, the food isn't great. The brisket was fatty and tough at the same time...which is odd. The pork was a little on the tough side and lacked much smoke character. The sides(mac & cheese and green beans) were excellent.

We are regulars at the Fairlawn location, but recently stopped in the Medina store for my favorite brisket. Equally pleased with the clean, friendly, and yummy smelling atmosphere. Was totally surprised to see Alex there, because we knew her from the Fairlawn store. She is always welcoming and very engaging. The brisket was delicious, as always, and we will definitely stop back in!

My husband and I catered city barbecue for our wedding reception this past weekend. The catering team arrived early to ensure plenty of time for set up. The food was absolutely amazing! The team also boxed up to go meals for my husband and I to eat after the reception. The communication with City Barbecue was amazing and staff extremely friendly. Would recommend!
