Giant Eagle Supermarket

Giant Eagle is a great place to do our weekly grocery shopping. The store is bright and clean and always fully stocked. The prices are a good value and you can usually find all of what your looking for. The best value often is there Market District store brand of products. I like that they still have the option of using live checkout clerks at the registers too. Best selection of nutritional supplements in a grocery store as well. Also my wife and daughter enjoy the bath and beauty selection.

Typical Giant Eagle, imo. Well organized, decent prices and deals, clean and friendly staff for the most part.

Well stocked and well appointment local shopping center. The customers service area is rather slow, but the rest of the store compensates for that with its large selection of food and produce.

Not the best one around. Regular items constantly out of stock, but clearly unpopular items will have too many at all times. Receipts have misleading terms in the item breakdown.

Prices still way too high. I had to really pick through the fruits and vegetables today because most of them were rotten and had to skip getting some of what I needed because the whole batch was rotten. Mold, big brown spots, just nasty.

Apparently everyone is starting to think the prices are too high since everything is rotting away.

The store is always clean though and there is always a good selection. They do have items you can't find at other stores too .

First time doing curb side pick up here. Never again. Apparently the employees only look at people who check in on an app and don't answer the phone. Sat for 15 mins waiting attempting to reach anyone on the phone while someone delivered 3 other car loads to people who arrived after me. I am fine with waiting if they are swampt but there was hardly anyone there this morning and the employee only gave excuses of call offs when I had to go inside. Groceries are too expensive to deal with this crap. This my second bad experience here. Probably won't go back.

Good prices and food

The self serve checkout is the worst in the industry. Please add an icon to bypass the required Giant Eagle scan. It would beat waiting 5 minutes for a staff member.

This place opens at 7:00 and is a ghost town of vendors, stockers, and online shoppers until 8 or 9am.... But this morning, at 7:05, the front end manager, lori, helped me with what I needed so I could get some groceries because I was broke and hungry. Thank you, lori! ;-)

Edit: giving a 1 star review instead of 5 stars because Brenda was very combative to the elderly woman in front of me and then when I had to return something that wasn't opened and bought just an hour or so ago she said I had to drive an hour back to the other store because it would mess up their inventory. I nicely said "no mam, I've worked retail all my life and thays not how that works. So because of that she did it. I was going to buy something else instead but I walked out. She had me and the other woman in front of me shaking. She was so animostic for no reason. The elderly woman in front of me just had a question about her perks reward. She should network with the public if she's going to scream at everyone and give them a hard time. I don't even want to shop here ever again now. She treated me and the elderly woman in front of me so bad for no reason that I'm never shopping here again. Totally unacceptable behavior and uncalled for. We were both nothing but kind and respectful and gentle when speaking. She needs manager management classes.

Emerson is the sweetest person! She helped switch my messed up bills for straighter ones since the machine didn't want to accept my bills from being folded up too much. I know it's a simple and silly thing but her attitude and kindness made my night. She is the type to help you because she wants you and not make you feel like your inconveniencing her. Please give her a raise and a shoutout for me. Thank you!

Helpful staff. Good selections, fresh produce. My main grocery and pharmacy.

Be careful of 2 for ones. Often old produce and it's rotting. 2 for 1 Potatoes had to be returned. They were very old and be careful. When potatoes are green under the skin it means they are improperly stored. Stop buying from the supplier that improperly stored them. V
