Lager Heads BBQ Smokehouse

I figured since it was a smokehouse, it had to be good. Its weird they don't have a variety platter so you can try at least 2-3 of their smoked products, but ok. I got the brisket, which didn't seem to have any smoke taste and was a bit dry. The onion rings tasted like they had been previously fried and then refried when someone ordered so as to reduce frying time. I was really disappointed because I wanted this to be good, but it wasn't. Now the service was amazing and I'll bet my food was out qithin 5 minutes. Yes, 5 minutes. It seemed quick but here we are. If I had anything to say about the service it wouldn't be about mine but the table next to me had legitimate complaints and they weren't addressed and the server didn't try to make things right. I wouldn't recommend this place just based on the food.

I had a root beer the smoked wings the baked beans and mac and cheese. With the cornbread. Everything was pretty amazing. The best thing honestly was the baked beans they were so good. The wings were cooked really well and had a really nice char on them. I will definitely be returning. The only thing I didn't care for is the barbecue sauce. It's got a real peppery flavor it does go well with the meat but I prefer a sweeter option. I didn't try any of the other sauces accept the Cajun dry rub That was on the chicken. The cornbread was really moist but would be definitely better with some honey butter or butter.

Pulled pork was OK. Only get one side, though, and choices are few. Used to offer a pulled pork and brisket dinner, but not anymore. Food overall just not as good as a few years ago. Beer is decent.

We used Lagerheads for a catering order of approx 50 people. Pan of brisket, pan of pulled pork, and cole slaw. We had a great experience. The food was a hit. I was personally a fan of the brisket. It melted in your mouth. Their standard BBQ sauce is sneaky good too. I arrived 10 minutes early for the pickup and the food was ready to roll. Appreciate the help of all. We'll certainly use them again for catered orders.

Brisket sandwhich was dry and hard. Fries and pickles were great! Piggy Mac was not great. Pork was dry, very little bbq sauce. Mac was ok. Waitress was terrible. Appetizer plate stayed at the table through our whole meal, never got asked for a refill of our alcohol. We sat for 15 mins after we were done eating and stared at each other before she checked on us and asked about the check. $72 for an app, 2 entrees, a beer and a cocktail w hardly any liquor in it. Also the beer selection… limited is an understatement.

Service was quick and friendly. We had the smoked deviled eggs which were very good with some awesome bacon jam. Brisket and pulled chicken sandwich were very good.
