We went specifically for the lobster. Ordered the lobster dinner, and 1 additional lobster. The first one was perfect. Delicious. There was something wrong with the second one. When we cut into it, a foul smelling liquid filled the plate. Then the inside was very green and mushy. We told the waitress (she was wonderful-and earned a five star rating) and she sent the owner over. He was dismissive, very rude, condescending and offensive. He made a sarcastic comment and said…” Since you know more about lobster than I do, don’t eat it.” He then proceeded to take food off the dish, smell it, and ate it. We were shocked.
We would’ve been happy to try a different lobster.
But he didn’t offer. It wasn’t removed from the bill, until we asked the bartender to remove it.
Our bill for 4 adults was $240. after tip. Not an inexpensive night, so we expected a little more compassion from the owner. We weren’t looking for anything free, but by the looks and smell of that lobster, we were afraid of getting sick.
We won’t be back. The owner should be ashamed of his behavior.

Had a bad experience at dinner tonight. I ordered the lobster dinner and an additional lobster to split with my friend. First lobster was great I cut the second lobster down the middle gave half to my friend. Upon tasting the second lobster it had a funky smell and taste. The owner comes over to the table asked the problem I told him it tasted and smelled funny he then took the remaining lobster off my plate and ate it and basically told me I was full of it and that the lobster was fine. He was rude. I am sad because I really liked this restaurant which we frequently ate at but no more he ruined it for me. I was there celebrating my friends retirement. Good bye forever.

Very tough steak at a premium price. Like the place but won’t make the mistake of buying another steak here.

I don’t see what’s so special about this place. The food was good. The service was good. The atmosphere was average. We were surprised by the big size of the slices of cake that we got in to-go boxes. Overall, I’ve had better meals for half the cost. Just my two cents. Hope this helps someone.

The Timberlodge in Medina was a warm, cozy and bustling restaurant. We were warmly greeted & seated by Kim who was also our server.
We ordered prime rib & Delmonico steaks, which were cooked to perfection. The salads were fresh & crisp and delicious. Our baked potatoes were the BEST we’ve eaten in a long time. We also loved the fresh baked dinner rolls.
Timberlodge made 3 California ladies so happy! We were so thankful we stopped by and had such a delicious dinner and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere. We give Timberlodge 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Server was GREAT. Prices a little steep. The steak was WAY TOO OVER THE TOP SALTY! It lost its flavor due to the overabundance of salt. The VERY first bite was overwhelmingly salty. The olive oil loaded potato lacked enough butter and sour cream. The french onion soup was SUPERB. Suggestion that I hope the owner/manager heeds: Go light on the salt and find a good herb mix. If a customer wants more salt, make sure it's available. You'll have MANY MORE return patrons, GUARANTEED!

Timber Lodge is a cozy, lodge-themed restaurant known for hearty American cuisine and a warm, rustic ambiance. It’s perfect for casual dining with family or friends, featuring a menu of steaks, burgers, ribs, and comfort dishes.

Pros:
- Warm, rustic, and inviting atmosphere.

- Friendly staff and consistent service.

Cons:
- Can get noisy during busy hours.
- Prices may be slightly higher than typical casual dining spots.
- Some dishes are heavy, so not ideal for light eaters.

Came up tonight for the 7 1/2lb lobster. So delicious! So glad you posted on here that you had a big one available. We will be back! Always great service, food, and atmosphere.

We’ve come to Timberlodge for years and have always been very pleased. We went this evening to celebrate my son’s birthday as we usually do. Four of us got prime rib. We were all disappointed. The meat was not tender. The au jus had no taste. I couldn’t even eat it. The piece of tiramisu was minuscule. We will not be in any hurry to go back.
