We tried Yokai in Medina for the first time today. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had a build-your-own Donburi bowl, and my husband had the Miso bowl with pork belly. We were visiting from the northern Virginia area (we moved from Strongsville in 2023) to visit family. We will be recommending you to all of our friends and family who live in the region!

Stopped by Yokai Ramen for lunch and ended up getting much more than a meal.
The broth is deep, rich, and clearly built with patience — the kind of flavor that only comes from time and respect for technique. The chashu is beautifully caramelized, tender, and full of character, not just thrown on top for show. Perfectly cooked egg, fresh scallions, mushrooms, and noodles with great bite — everything in the bowl works together.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere feels intentional: calm, focused, and inviting without trying too hard. You can tell this place has a story and a vision behind it.

Although the electronic menu at the door was daunting due to the vast range of Asian fusion options, we both managed to order exactly what we wanted and were not rushed. Food was soon delivered hot to our table and was surprisingly delicious. The tableware was minimalist but up to the task. We left satisfied, promising ourselves another visit.

Wow, my uber driver told me about this place, a Ramen / Asian Fusion place and I have to say, the people here making the food are awesome, I had a ramen dish and wings and it was a lot of food, but they brought me some of their own food they were preparing for themselves for dinner, which was delicious, but I was very touched to be included. You can tell they have a heart for preparing delicious food. I highly recommend.
