We tried Yokai in Medina for the first time today. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had a build-your-own Donburi bowl, and my husband had the Miso bowl with pork belly. We were visiting from the northern Virginia area (we moved from Strongsville in 2023) to visit family. We will be recommending you to all of our friends and family who live in the region!
A hot, fresh bowl of ramen and some crunchy fried Korean wings finished with refreshing mochi, delicious! We will be back to try more menu items, especially a poke bowl. All of the toppings to choose from looked so fresh and the entire restaurant was so clean.
Stopped by Yokai Ramen for lunch and ended up getting much more than a meal.
The broth is deep, rich, and clearly built with patience — the kind of flavor that only comes from time and respect for technique. The chashu is beautifully caramelized, tender, and full of character, not just thrown on top for show. Perfectly cooked egg, fresh scallions, mushrooms, and noodles with great bite — everything in the bowl works together.
