We come here regularly and enjoy the food, though the service can be hit or miss. Most of our experiences with the staff have been positive. However, we've ordered takeout a couple of times and won’t be doing it again—both times, the food was ice-cold and disappointing. That said, we highly recommend dining in, especially for groups.

I realize Chuy's is not fine dining. However, we get our appetizer and a couple minutes later our meals came out. I said are you rushing us out the door? At 5:30 on a Saturday night, it was not busy. Our waitress said that's why you got your food so quick, we're not busy. Even more the reason that the food shouldn't be rushed out. When my wife receives her dinner, there is a black hair in it. My wife does not have black or dark hair. We said something to the waitress and she was apologetic. She took the food away and we thought they were going to remake her dinner. A manager came over and apologized as well. She said they would take off our bill. We thought that was very nice. My wife made it very clear that she wanted her dinner. After she watched me eat my dinner, we found our waitress and asked her to make my wife's dinner to go at this point. The waitress says, you still want dinner? Well, yeah she does. Like they were doing us a favor my taking her dinner off the bill. It had been awhile since we have been here. After this experience it will more than likely never happen again. Unbelievably bad experience. My dinner and the appetizer was good. Even when we left at 6:30, the restaurant had plenty of tables available. Sad! Our bill was still $50, with her dinner not on there and we had no alcohol.
I always enjoy Chuy's! Their chips are incredible and I always ask for their creamy jalapeno for dipping my chips and covering my Chuychanga.

Took me and two others to get food. About 10 mins. The Root Beer comes in a bottle and does not refill for $4 seems like a scam. They also decided since they didn’t have white cheese to swap it with yellow and left a chip on it without telling me why beans were dried out. I asked for a box and my check to leave after taking one bite of my food sever offered to remake it but I didn’t have the patience to wait. 3 people is around $60.
