“Went there on 06 AUG 2024 for my birthday dinner and it was fantastic! Ordered the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer but it turned out that the kitchen was out of the mushrooms and Chef (and Waitress) sent their regrets. So, we ordered the always good pretzels and bier cheese instead when lo and behold, stuffed mushrooms appeared on our table anyway! Did Chef run to the store??? AND we got the pretzels and bier cheese complimentary from the kitchen as an apology for seemingly being out of the 'shrooms! The whole thing was wonderful and adorable! Hubby had the Chicken Paprikash and I had the Hunter (Pork) Schnitzel and both were gr eat in our opinions! I did substitute the slightly sweet, very creamy cole slaw because I don't like sauerkraut. The potato pancake was also very good (although MAYBE a tiny bit too brown/well done on the outside for me? But then again, I am not Chef nor am I in charge, lol), I just wish there had been more of them! Dessert was a chocolate sundae w/a warm gooey chocolate chip cookie! Our waitress was sweet and wonderful and I wish I remembered her name but hopefully she'll remember us from the "shroom/pretzel incident," lol! 5 stars all-around, can't wait to go back!“
