Had a birthday party here and it was wonderful. Not sure if I was working with the owner but he was awesome, provided everything we needed. The atmosphere is great, the beers I had were delicious and interesting (serano pepper beer). Just all around great place and people.

It was expressed to us on our 1st ever visit that the bar did not have a good amount of employees. The bartender was awesome tho! (Allie) (Tuesday night) On a Saturday we can go, a blonde she was wearing a red and white plaid dress BLUE shoes and was SOOOO rude. We tried to let her know we understand and gave her plenty of time. She was short, never smiled, replied "when I got time" the bar was NOT busy. We just came from a very busy restaurant downtown and none of the bartenders treated us that way.

Outta towner, i stopped in had a flight and grabbed a growler, tried chucks challenge and found a seltzer I liked.
Service was great and the folks at the bar where a good convo and gave me some local spots to stop! All in all great showing 10 of 10 will stop again!

I've never met a company that I wanted to succeed more! The venue itself a stellar but every single drink I have ever gotten there over the past 3 years I've thrown out... Everything that they make in house tastes not quite finished. I can't tell if they need to further ferment or if there's a by-product but I think it's the former due to the fact that I've had this issue with every beer and wine I've had. Comedy venue is fun and tonight they had music playing outside, I just wish there was a drink that I could actually finish!

We love to go to Star City to play darts or Euchre. We have rented rooms for private events before and the rooms are reasonably priced and easy to book. Everyone we've brought down with us to Star City has loved the place. It's especially neat to bring down people who were there when it was a restaurant decades ago. Star City still has much of the original Peerless Mill features like the rustic stone and brick flooring and the wood beams. It's kind of like having beers with your friends at a lodge!

Despite visiting on a weekday afternoon Star City had its fair share of regulars in already and was preparing for a party. It seemed like a very friendly place, and the old building is pretty neat to me. Their beers were also great, and their imperial stout was my favorite. It was rich without being too sweet. I’d definitely recommend Star City to anyone looking for a nice pint.

Awesome Brewery! Great authentic atmosphere of an old mill turned brewery with the stone floors and beams in the ceilings! Wonderful spaces to host events and the most amazing beers on tap! The wine is super enjoyable as well!
