Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

We had a lot of issues during our visit, and I’m not usually one to complain about my food, but this experience was unusually poor. My chair felt like it was seconds away from falling apart, and I had to switch to another one. The soup we ordered barely had any gnocchi or chicken, and the portions were extremely small. I had to send it back, and the same issue happened with several bowls.

The peppers in my meal were cut into very large chunks instead of strips, and overall the portion sizes seemed unusually small. We were repeatedly shorted on breadsticks with hardly any garlic seasoning, and our server removed the breadstick bowl from the table before we could pack up our leftovers. We also weren’t given a plastic bag or breadstick bag with our takeout containers.

On top of that, the tablet wouldn’t scan our gift cards. The entire experience was very disappointing. While the service was extremely fast, it felt rushed based on what I saw coming out of the kitchen. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. We left at 9:30, and they didn’t close until 11, so it didn’t feel like they were trying to push us out.

I visited the Mentor location the week prior and had a completely opposite experience, so I can only assume these issues are specific to this location.

The food was good, but the restaurant was dirty, we got there at 11:20 am and the floors were dirty from the night before. Some of the tables were still not wiped down from the night before.

We had gift cards, so we stopped in for dinner on our way home from the I-X Center. I had the soup, salad, and breadsticks, which was perfect. The Minestrone soup was really good, and even though my husband had soup instead of salad with his entree, our waiter still brought us the large salad bowl. I would definitely have that as my meal again. My husband raved about his Tour of Italy entree

Overpriced for the quality. Alfredo sauce tastes like the cheap ones from a jar at the supermarket.

Our family enjoyed a very nice meal. Our server, Joseph, was exceptional! His tabkeside manner was so professional,that I asked if he had training. Our food was delicious and filling,as usual. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a sit down Italian chain,the only detraction was the fact that the ledge near the table where we were seated had,quite obviously,not been cleaned in some time,as it was noticeably dusty.

I was there with a group of 15 on a Friday evening celebrating my birthday. The food, the service, and the atmosphere was perfect. Everyone was pleased with their meals and very appreciative of the service from Maggie and Bri, who attended to our group. The appetizers and main courses were serviced hot which is hard with a large group,and tasted amazing. The portions were nice. (Even the take home orders)I was really appreciative to the manager on duty who was proactive to a possible issue, she addressed it quickly and professionally, which added to our enjoyable evening.

We came in with quite a big party after church on Sunday August 17th. They were very accommodating and very nice and super helpful. We had a couple different servers helping us they were all wonderful. I only caught Mollie’s name but the other young ladies were just as great!

I ordered food for pickup last night, they only gave me one straw for two drinks, didn’t include silverware even though I marked to include it, but the worst part is that I got food poisoning from the shrimp scampi. I have been sick and miserable all day since eating it, and the food was subpar at best

I placed a pick up order . Catering menu. Large salad, 1/2 gallon of minestrone & 1/2 gallon of pasta fagiol. With bread stix. Everything was good. EXCEPT THEY FORGOT THE PARM CHEESE!! I was disappointed. The cheese makes the salad..

We went to Olive Garden tonight and sat at the bar. We were greeted quickly and the bartender was very nice. Soup and salad? Can’t beat it. I had old reliable fettuccini Alfredo and my husband had the bucatini that’s on special. Both were even better than I had anticipated. I keep my expectations low at chain restaurants but Olive Garden is so much more than a chain restaurant because “when you’re here, you’re family”.

We had a large party of 35. The waitresses did an amazing job. The food was ok but nothing spectacular .

Food wasn't hot enough. I know we were a big group but I'm sure y'all are use to that. The portion size of the full to the lunch only difference was the price. Wasn't happy about that.
