BEWARE! I ordered egg rolls and they contained shrimp. No where on the menu did it say that their regular egg rolls had shrimp in them. They were also undercooked. My boyfriend ordered crab rangoon and there was no filling in them. The General Tso had no flavor. I did order mild but there was ZERO flavor to the sauce. Honey garlic chicken was decent. Not garlicky at all, garlic was no where to be found.

Only thing that was good was the lemonade and the service food was gross, slimey, and made me feel nauseous a few hours later.?? Never will I go back?‍♂️

It's crazy to be able say this, but I've been enjoying Wah Fu for almost 30 years now.I now live about 45 minutes south of the restaurant, but I still visit regularly. Most Chinese restaurants use the same formula: order frozen breaded meat from a supplier, dump it in a deep fryer, and coat it in a sugary sauce. It's pretty much all the same, no matter where you go.Wah Fu is different, and everything is homemade. If you go, it's absolutely essential that you order their wonton soup and an egg roll. Once you've experienced those starters, you'll be able to tell everything is prepared fresh on site instead of shipped in from the cheapest supplier. The breading on their fried dishes? Obviously done by hand. The fried rice isn't an artificial "yellow" color like most places, and you'll instead find real chunks of pork, egg, and green onion within. It's not for everybody. If you grew up liking the "fast food style" Chinese, you may not like Wah Fu, but if you're a person who appreciates a family that has established its own recipes and still prepares things from scratch, you'll be hard pressed to find a better spot. From talking to others about Wah Fu, I have found it's very polarizing: You either absolutely love it or absolutely hate it. It doesn't seem there is anything in between. The inside is nothing special and won't wow you with decor. Their servers are friendly and helpful, but there's no showy gimmicks. The star of the show here is the food, but shouldn't that be what a restaurant is about? My only complaint: I miss their homemade duck sauce.

I went here for years…like 20! Not sure what the heck is going on, but the beef ho fun was disgraceful. They used to use a thick wide Al dente noodle. I got it today and it’s an overcooked regular old egg noodle.. The lo mein now is like vermicelli, so thin it comes out, soft and mushy out of the container. What happened to the best Wonton soup in the city!? Now it’s just like everybody else. The rice is such a short grain now that it’s like eating quinoa. Will the orange chicken was fantastic. Like I said, very disappointing. PS they also didn’t give me everything that I paid for. But they were quick to tell me that if I drove all the way back to Middleburg from Parma, I can pick it up.

Check your order before you leave! When in town I always stop to get something to take home. I ask for their house mustard which is great. But for some reason the lady can't understand. 2 large house mustard. $60 for food which is worth it. But I get to where I live in Beechwood, get the food out and all there is is 1 small hot mustard. This has happened more than once and a big disappointment, try sharing this with 3 others! Not even a teaspoons worth. Now I go a bit out of my way to Mandarin on Pleasant Valley and York rds. They charge a bit extra but the order has been correct every time I order there.

Everyone was super nice and efficient. I ordered it the Empress chicken and was surprised at how much chicken you get compared to breading. I asked for extra spicy It was genuinely surprised with the heat. Good price for the amount of food you get too.

Ordered takeout tonight, sweet and sour chicken combo & a sesame chicken combo and unfortunately both of our chicken dishes the chicken was very soggy and overly breaded and tasteless, the pork fried rice was very dry as well and no flavor. Unfortunately very disappointing, the only thing that was good was the egg rolls.

The Wonton Soup is the best. I always buy 2 Quarts to go home. One for dinner, and another to enjoy the next day.
